Lacrosse boot fan. I like the fact that their boots are 17" tall compared to some other brands. I love their Burly's best with the air bob soles. They come with just the foam insulation, and are perfect for spring turkey and early bow seasons. I have their Grange model as well, but hardly wear them over the Burly's!!!! Nothing worse that getting wet feet, love those 17" tall rubber boots!!! Now if you live in snake country, another style of boot may be more to your liking., or wear a pair of snake chaps?

Ended up in Gander Mtn. one day a couple of years ago looking for a pair of binoc's myself. I looked at quite a few brands they had in the store that day. Finally settled on the Bushnell Legends in 8X30 power. Couldn't tell the difference between these, Zeiss, Nikon, Leupold, or Swavorski. For the asking price of $358.00 at the time I was very pleased with my purchase.

Haven't been out scouting as yet due to the very cold, snowy, windy, weather conditions. As soon as the temps start staying in the 50's I hope to get out and due some pre-season scouting.

Been shooting a Mathew's Switchback for almost 6 season's now, and getting the urge to try something new. Been looking at the new Bowtech line for my next bow. Any one else thinking of up-grading in 2014?

Presently drive a 2009 Silverado, and come next year will seriously be checking out the new Colorado and Canyon. Since I rally don't tow or haul heavy loads, leaning with getting something that gets better MPG's. Three new engines will made for these trucks: 2.5L I-4, 3.6L V6, and in 2016 a 2.8L Duramax Turbo Diesel. Cant wait to test drive these trucks come fall!!

Having a rash of rabbit issues of late, and my .17HMR is quite loud in this residential neighborhood. Question is, what brand of pellet gun would some of you suggest? I'm leaning with a .22 caliber and possibly going with either a Gamo or Beman spring model.

Does anyone remember a hunter named Noel Feather? He was some sort of a celebrity type, as well as selling many products bearing his name years ago. Well, he tried pulling off a similar stunt and got caught as well. Talk about a fall from grace!! Glad that they fined the guy heavily and banned him for life from hunting.

I've been after one particular gobbler myself. He gobbles once or twice in the morning then goes quiet!! Been to this spot twice so far only to have himn pull the very same stunt. I now know the direction he goes, so next time out there I'll be waiting for him to show up. He's not interested in any calling what so ever. Thinking this may be a 3+ year old bird!!
