Re: To hunt or not to hunt?
[ QUOTE ]
So what do I need to get me going?
Shotgun type?
Calls?
Blinds?
Clothing? (assuming I could use my archery clothing)
Anything else?
[/ QUOTE ]
This is quite a bit to answer in one thread.
Maybe you could start threads with specifics
Shotguns is a matter of choice. If you have one already and can get a turkey choke for it is the way I would go first.
Calls: Look and find which ones will suit your preferences and learn to call.
Your archery clothing should be fine if it blends in during the spring
There are many more.....to be continued
(Time to take son to school for JV football bus)
Re: Hows your High School Football team doing?

Re: what\'s the longest shot made with your ML\'s
[ QUOTE ]
I don't mean to stir the pot, but to me the issue on getting more distance out of my ML isn't whether or not it's an inline or a sidelock (I own both), but rather do I have a scope on it or is it open sights. The distance I feel comfortable in shooting with my ML has nothing to do with whether it is my inline or sidelock.

BINGO!
Re: Pa campfire
Before AR I hunted in Pa. I enoyed it and hope to do it again in the future. I hope that Pa, can become all it can be to encourage all hunters to stay hunting.

When we get a deer in those kind of temps, we get it home, skin it, cut out the backstraps, and tenderloins, and quarter it.

We have a large cooler we pack the meat in and then ice it.
Re: wildcat hollow hunting preserve in ohio
I live minutes away.
It is not a preserve. It is a mixture of public and private lands. To go on the private lands you must have permission.
