Re: Undertaker Choke Tube Actually I get a tighter pattern with my factory Ulti-Full choke than with the Undertaker one I have. It is collecting dust somewhere around here. Just my shotgun shoots better that way. Yours might be different.

Re: Mossberg 835 getting a bad rep. All makes and models of shotguns have good points and bad points. The choice of the buyer is which one would suit them best for the purpose of it's use. Personally I do not know why the 3 places you visited bad mouthed the Mossberg.

Re: Kids and video games...can\'t stand it Grouch LOL I agree that imagination seems like a rare thing in this technological age. Parents have used many things to baby sit their children with the televison being number #1 .That is either with videos or games. (You name it and it probably is around the house here) Sometimes it is educational and most times it is not. Luckily my boys are pretty good at the time they spend doing the games. Yes some of them are not quite up to some others standards but I have sons with common sense. With all the school sports and activities along with homework they are lucky anymore to get a hour to play on them. Now that the warmer weather is getting here they will add archery .fishing and springturkey hunting and camping to em. My boys also read books,do crafts, artwork, woodwork and carving. GEEZ...somebody slap me for bragging again. However the oldest is the one who ticks me off with his game playing. I never get a chance toplay my Spyro game anymore. see I am rambling again and am not making any sense.

Re: Track and Field question That is 100 meter time.
-
I do not know much about track so I want to ask those who might know. TE was timed at 11.7 seconds today (at practice). Is that a good time for a 14 yr old 8th grader?

Re: Crossbows - please only bowhunters reply I will answer this even though I am a hunter who uses a bow. Would I be a bowhunter if I wore a bowtie? 1. How are crossbows dealt with where you live? Are they treated just like all other bows? do they have their own season? etc. Legal for all deer season 2. Do you support letting all hunters with an archer license hunt with a crossbow? or just disabled people? I'm for hunting so I support it for all hunters 3. If crossbows were allowed for all people with archery license would you take a crossbow rather than a recurve or compound? I own both and use both according to how I feel. But most of the time I have my compound.

Re: How close It varies but terrain plays a big part for me. Usually I end up about 100 yards away. Although last spring we had one fly off right above us. I never realized it was there.

We went to another wrestling tournement today. This time is was just LittleNut participating.(TE was sick and is taking a break to concentrate on Track). LN has finally started to take the wrestling serious and wants the mat time to improve for next year. He is going up against others that are way above his current skill level and is holding is own. Well in his final match he was put in a getting pinned situation with one arm behind his back. He held on til end of period. But his shoulder was hurting bad. I know it was bad by his look. I told his coach to end it to save it for another day. However Martin did not want to stop. So we had him move the arm and shoulder around to check on movement. The determination he had on his face was something that has never appeared before. So I relented for him and was also ready to run onmat just in case, Well he actually won the next period with some great wrestling and heart. However he was too far behind on points to win. He ended up in 4th place which is not bad considering he was on B team during the regular season. I am proud that Martin is showing some determination and effort in something. It shows to me that he is maturing at last. __________________

Re: YOU MAKE UP THE LAWS I want a #11..... No more County music that was made after 1989.

Re: YOU MAKE UP THE LAWS #1. Eliminate all elections and fill offices just like if jury duty is called. You get called to serve as a congressman for 1 term and you can never be called again. Of course the President position will be filled by me and be called Evil Overlord as is should be. #2. Conservatism and Liberalism activities and associated practices will be punished by spankings. #3. No more reality televison shows. #4. Patriot act will be eliminated. It will be replaced by the Pansie act. If we dont like want ya say you get to move to SF. #5. Alternate sources of energy will become priority. With natural methane by eating beans to be researched #1 Betcha we could provide plenty of energy that way. #6. DUI's will be punishable by a castrastion if a man and if a woman it will be a mastacomy. That should stop the idiots from drinbking and driving. As partof this there will be no alcohol sales on any holiday or so-called holiday. #7. I get to hunt wherever and wherever I want . #8.Alaska will become a toxic waste site and drilled on every acre. Only the workers will be allowed to live there. #9. Every current and past politician will be serving as border guards or serving in a national guard. AWOL is a offense that will cause em to be shot . #10. I make all the laws and revoke em whenever they apply to me. (Oh Tom DeLay already does that ) Hey this was for fun.

Re: Good morning all! Well I left house about 6am and looked at wildlife. None got close enough for a pic. Going to work on van for a bit (at least oldest son is) and then at noon will be at a wrestling tournement that youngest son went to. After that I am going to do something else.

Re: Ohio/PA Rodeo I am hoping to put my pop up at the Buttonwood access a day or 2 before the GT. If it is full I am trying to find a close back up place. If I cant find a spot I can always just put it up here at home??? (less than 25 minutes from getting line in water)

Re: Drilling in Alaska Refuge Alaska would be a pretty good place for a nuclear waste dump also.

Well it looks like it will be must for me to practice off hand shooting for this spring.(see ouch post in lounge) I did it a few times last year just for back up but it probably will be a must this spring. Do you practice off hand for those just in case instances?
