Saw this deer this morning at 50 yards behind some limbs. He TOTALLY ignored all calling and walked the other way. This afternoon I saw him at +/- 150 yards down the creek bottom. Some grunting and rattling and he came in on a STRING !!! Today is 10 years TO THE DAY that I shot a nearly identical 8-pointer within 400 yards of where I got this one this afternoon. How do ya figger 'em ???

I disagree. Any nation that will elect obama TWICE will elect hillary. Take that to the bank. Spot on. The republicans generally have NO clue as to how to pick an electable candidate and run a campaign. Wouldn't surprise me a bit if they tried running John McCain or Bob Dole again in 2016. From what I see of him I like his politics. But put him on the Dole, McCain, Romney list of electability IMHO.

Hope you can get on a hot bird. If it's been anything up here like it's been here................. you ain't missed much. This has been the strangest year in my memory for lack of gobbling birds.

Downed this one our first Monday. Have one tag left. But I'd sure like to put a bird in front of my little girl !!!
