Just wondering if any of you have experienced the situation we are running into here in central Ohio. One spot I hunt has typical late October, early November activity, good deer numbers, chasing, cruising, scraping, rubbing...
Yesterday, at another spot a buddy and I sat for a combined 16 hours and saw 3 deer. Even more surprisingly, we bumped a 130" class 8pt out of his bed and he was standing over a doe, suggesting that area is on lockdown already. These two spots are separated by about 40 miles.
We thought it was weird, but can come up with no other explanation. I've seen this happen before too.
