Buddy and I limited by 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Big cold front coming through Wednesday, so that one with the one we just got, I'm hoping we have a ton of birds come Saturday.

Buddy and I got out. He limited, I got 12. My plan was to limit later in the day with my son, but I wasn't feeling too good after dinner. Back at it again Saturday, hopefully by then we will have cooler temps and less humidity. It was brutal after 9 o'clock or so.

Can I go hunting with you?

Yep, it does look like an extra point growing straight out. Pretty cool. Big deer, unique, I wouldn't care about the score on that one, he's a shooter.

I really try to never hunt the same stand 3 days in a row. If you continually put your scent in the area, and continually bust deer walking in and out of the stand, it won't take long until you don't see deer on a continual basis.

Tough to tell in velvet, but a nice deer for sure. Good luck!

I've seen a fair amount of fawns this year, but they all seem to be about the same age and size.

Congrats mom and dad. My wife and I move my daughter in tomorrow, but she's going to The Ohio State University, which is only about 30 minutes from home, and she's our 2nd child to leave for college. Watching the first go off to college is a bit tough, so hang in there.

It takes its toll sometimes. This time was especially stressful for some reason. My fear was something new popped up and I wouldn't be able to finish up my final class for the University. That would have delayed my new license by another year, but it looks like I'll be able to finish now. I appreciate the kind words, thoughts and prayers folks.

My 6 month cancer CT and MRI scans came back "stable." :clap: My son's did too. Son #2's pituitary tumor grew by 1mm, but they're still not concerned about it. Final check up is the 30th, but that's just bloodwork. Thought some of you old timers would like to know.

We've been finding a fair amount of blacks in our spot. No grays or yellows yet. Fried up about 50 last night.

Congrats. Closest I ever got was about 2". Number 7 at Forest Hills in Elyria. It was about a 180 yard par 3. I think I used a 7 iron. The green was sloped. I flew over the flag it hit and rolled back. I made the birdie.

Hand tilling anything over about 500 sq. ft. and you'll want to kill yourself by the end of the day.

Sure looks like a cat track to me William. I know with the freeze and thaw cycles we get up here, tracks tend to "grow" as they age, but that first one looks pretty fresh. Set your camera out in that area.
