Got it planted about a week ago, checked it last night and there is stuff sprouted. In a little later than I wanted but took me awhile to get the ground broken. Now we just need rain which is coming tonight. Only rained once in the last week and not much. Would suspect stuff will really sprout after a good soaking

Is it just for Renewals? I think I've received those for nursing magazines...I just toss them out because the renewal price is rediculous,lol I'm still waiting though on a new subscription to Bowhunter Mag....wasn't a renewal, was a discount offer...I don't think it was through them.

Nice score db!! I just picked up a Scott Longhorn Hex release to try, may help a little bit with my tendency to trigger punch. Need to get to a local course to do a little practice before the R100.

It is alot of fun, can't wait, and Batavia did an excellent job with the course I thought.

Got a few more days left but never really got out this year. Working 3p-11p puts a damper on roosting turkeys and makes it hard to get up early:yawn: Also my BSN courses took precedent.Then the land I always get permission to hunt, some guys really hunted it this year, had a cam pic of one of them with a turkey...probably 6-7 different guys I had on trail cam.... Might get out one or two times more, not sure where but few years back went out on the last day and found a hot bird so there is always hope.

Great news Chris! I'm sure it's an anxious time for both waiting for the results. Time to celebrate and praise God!

being put in to this plot I'm doing. Mowing, a little discing, then sprayed weed killer, then the hand pump sprayer broke so picked up a new one and finished spraying yesterday. Once the weeds are dead will disc it thoroughly and plant. Actually hoping it is a big hit with the deer. This year all the fields surrounding us are planted with corn. Deer usually hit the alfalfa here so I think my plot might be a big attractant for them, we'll see.

Thanks XT! I finished up this past week with my classes and have another week off before I take Nutrition for 5 weeks. I've missed alot of turkey season this year because of school but there are more turkey seasons to come. Already looking forward to deer season,lol.

My JD Gator I got in olive green....little more $ then the traditional John Deere color, less $ than camo...I didn't want to stand out too much.

Anyone out hunting? I have not really gotten out at all, have been so busy getting work done for school, but am about finished after this week so next week it's game on!

Less then 48 hours till the turkey opener, who all is going out? I have not gotten any scouting done, been so busy with school and work but I will be going out Thursday AM, rain or sign. Got permission to hunt some and up the road again, stuck a cam out last Friday. Going to be kind of a scout on the hunt season I think. Suppose to be rainy so will probably be by a field Thursday AM.
