lol...we went back and found his little brother...it was so mad when he got him to the boat,it dove under and broke his rod is 3 places!!! we did land him even with a 3 foot stub left of his rod!!...NOBODY fishes for northerns in this lake , as its known for panfish, bass etc, we went in and soaked huge sucker minnows. We still not hooked the "bigun", other than having him try to eat a bluegill we were pulling in.

Only lope I would have had a chance at was near Circle Mont. west of Glendive. Did not grab a tag, as we were Mule deer hunting. of course there was one right up by the two track. let us drive right up to it. Coulda shot him with the bow. Just stickin at home, chasin Whities this fall. 5 minutes and im in ''heaven"....lol
