man---as you know, the acorn crop in oklahoma is incredible right now. the deer have plenty of food in the woods right now so a lot of food plot use is at night. I have found that food plot hunting is better as the season goes on. Don't over hunt a plot--this will cause the deer to become nocturnal.
Morning hunts can be dangerous--the deer around my area seem to start hitting the plots about an hour before shooting light. If you are going to do morning hunts you need to get to your stand a minimum of an hour before shooting light. I try to get there 2 hours before shooting light---when I do I see more deer.
Another option is to try to find there bedding area and set up a stand between the bedding are and the food plot.
