For maximum camera coverage the camera lens needs to be 6.5 feet high with a 10 to 20 degree angle downward. This is from the directions on page 8 of the instruction manual. If you set it up that high then you might be cutting a lot of the lower body off in the pic. I have mine set up at about 4 ft high with about a 10 degree angle downward. I have noticed on really hot days though, the coverage isn't as good also. good luck todd

Re: Put out the Stealth Cam... it might depend on how high you have the camera, if you have any angle (pointing slightly downward), and esp heat. The camera works off both motion and heat. If it is hot outside then that will decrease the sensitivity a little. Batteries being a little weak. todd

right now i would place it at the mineral site then as the season gets closer the trails to try to pattern the deer. try to place it facing either north or south. place it on a large enought tree where you don't get a lot of wind movement on the tree as this will cause false movement and snap a pic. I put mine at about 3 feet high with a very slight angle downward. the less sky you have in the pic the better. can't think of anything else to tell you right now--good luck! it is a lot of fun and you can't beat that price. todd

Re: Mechanical Broadheads outdoor life did a penetration tests of a bunch of broadheads--both fixed and mechanical. The 2nd best penetrating mechanical was gametrackers silvertip. I have some, they shoot right with my field tips but so did my cabela lazor pros. The blades on the silvertip were sharp out of the package but not as sharp as i like---i did sharpen them a bit. I shot one through a foam target, exited out the back and penetrated through a 1/4 inch plywood. It did bend one of the blades but was still intact. They are very inexpensive heads--at wal-mart they run about 12 bucks for three heads. I usually start seeing acorn development in late august to september. In mid-october they will start maturing and falling off through november. By the end of november most of them have hit the ground. todd

Re: Pretty Crazy it is totally amazing how hospitals and insurance works--pain the the buttocks! There has to be a simplier way----I think all the bills should be submitted to the hospital---then the hospital breaks down the charges on one itemized bill. The insurance pays the hospital then the hospital pays everyone that is supposed to be payed. that would make it much easier. todd
