  1. You boys are going to keep me busy this season!!
  2. I just use the red trace mineral block also. I dig a small hole and bury half of it so it dissolves in the soil quick. Can't beat the price and it works!
  3. Yep,I agree. The personal foul call was bogus. Like u stated though I don't think it would have changed the final outcome. Their changing football now where you get in trouble for making a good hard hit. If you can't handle the game then take up golfing!
  4. Yes-that was an awesome game. That F-State receiver is going to remember that drop at the end for a long time!
  5. Each game is worth 1 point. We will play 10 games a week with an over/under for the Monday night game for a bonus point. Week #1 games: 49ers @ Cardinals Dolphins @ Falcons Eagles @ Panthers Broncos @ Bengals Jaguars @ Colts Cowboys @ Buccaneers Bears @ Packers Redskins @ Giants Monday Night: Bills @ Patriots O/U 47 Chargers @ Raiders O/U 43 Extra point available this week with two monday night games. Picks must be in prior to kickoff of first game. good luck todd
  6. The real game (OSU/GA) was on ABC. The ZeroU game was on ESPN and yes the Iowa game has a very dramatic ending with two field goal attempts and both of them were blocked. BTW---I have a tiny MP3 player with FM radio to listen to the POKES and get to hunt at the same time. Let's make that a top 10 teams:cowboy:
  7. Sorry about that Harv--prayers for a successful surgery and quick recovery.
  8. still use the Crooked Horn. Never had any problem with them and they work great.
  9. nice deer--still remember my first deer like yesterday!
  10. Man it sure feels good being a Cowboy right now:pop:
  11. I'll get it done this year. I'll have picks up by Monday. Muggs- thanks for taking over for me the last two years. Todd
  12. I have to work till noon on saturday. I will be late but will try my hardest.
  13. looks like you might have a little sweet killing spot there!
  14. I made me a little kill plot on the back of my property. The area is very grown up and I haven't been able to get a tractor back there to do anything. This summer I spend a lot of time with the chain saw and the front end loader and built me a path to this little natural opening. The area has always been loaded with deer signs (scrapes/bedding/rubs) so I decided to clear a path and build a little plot in this area. It was a lot of hard work cutting old logs and branches and trees so I hope it pays off. I am now able to get my Kubota back there and work this little area up. Once I made a tractor path I mowed with the brush hog--the weeds were 5 to 6 ft tall. I waited a few weeks then strapped on the back pack sprayer and killed all the vegetation with glyphosate. I waited a week then tilled the path and the small opening. The tilled path is about 200 yards winding thru some thick brush and pecan trees. This is the small natural opening. After I tilled with the 3-pt tillerI planted Evolved Throw and Grow on the opening and the path. I did not bury the seed just drove over the seed with the tractor tires to press into soil: Got really lucky and received a 0.8" rain on it the evening after planting so I've already got great germination (1 week post planting): Wish me luck--it was a lot of work for such a small plot so hopefully it will work out. todd
  15. won't comment on the stupidity part but quit the hydrogen peroxide and start putting neosporin on it three times a day.

    I'm Baaack!

looking foward to pics and stories!
  17. i got one of the D40 at BPS on sale. I have only had it in the field for about 2 weeks but so far it's taking some pretty darn good pics:
  18. very nice buck--now you just got to get him moving during shooting hours.
  19. If I was going to use a pre-mix from biologic for the fall I would grab their Green Patch Plus. A good product but you can mix your own much much cheaper. I don't think you will see a big difference purchasing from a local co-op or buying the pre-mix seeds when it comes to annual plots.
