  1. minerals alone taste nasty---adding the salt makes it more palatable. I too never put out pure salt. What's funny though is the deer knows when they need it. I get practically NO activity on mineral stations during the winter but when things start to green up they really hit the blocks hard.
  2. I put out one of the trace red mineral blocks (50#) about a month ago. I dig a hole and bury half the block with the other half sticking out. This helps the minerals leach into the soil. The deer are absolutely tearing it up right now. It's a mud hole with tracks everywhere. I got 20 different pics on it just the last week. This is usually the time they start hitting them hard. Don't waste your money on the deer cain flavored blocks. todd
  3. I used to freak at the first signs of weeds/grasses. Now I've learned to live with them and don't worry too much unless they get out of control. Take Martin's advise and don't spray now. Mowing might keep it under control and if it gets way out of control then hit it with some Poast.
  4. got some soybeans from soybeanman that I'll be planting as soon as it dries out a bit.
  5. Martin--you need to go tear up some land:)
  6. Went out to the farm to do a little retriever training and when I arrived at the pond there was a doe bedding in the shade. She spooked and ran about 20 yards and stopped. I had enough time to grab the camera and shoot a few pics: First pic: Second pic shot thru the windshield: Third pic: I shot about quick 10 pics until she got too far away. todd

  16. do you guys remember the weekly contest when we would spend at least an hour a week searching for the RT logo on different pages of their website. I got so hooked on that. Flipping thru pages---i remember one evening I could not find one of those logos and spent at least 4 hours until I finally found it. I never won but it was kind of fun.

    What is wrong?

Was the surgery not pre-approved prior to admission? Most of the time the hospital/surgeon's office will call your insurance prior for preapproval? I would check on that. I would also get documentation from your insurance and do as Steve suggested and contact your state insurance commisioner. If all else fails sometimes you can contact the hospital/surgeon and see if they will just accept what insurance will pay--the 80% (if they agree on that). good luck todd
  19. the only negative is they will eat your seeds after plantings. I love having turkeys though cuz I LOVE shooting longbeards. Just plant enough for them also.
