We have (3) boxers. My wife shows them. We have two toddlers and the dogs are great around the girls. I have a feeling they would give their lives to protect our girls. They are a great pet. They get a little hyper but its just the breed. They love to run and love to jump. We have a 6 foot chain link fence around our yard just to keep them inside our yard! I would suggest them, great dogs and would make a great family pet. Here are pictures of ours. The ABC's Angel, our oldest, 9 years and she is set in her ways. Eating and sleeping is what she likes best Brady, he is 8 months old and going to be a big boy when he is done growing. Wife is showing him now and doing well. Chase, he is 7 years old, and is still a bundle of energy
