I'm pretty sure they did away with the urban zones... Yes, I hunt 3 counties and could take 9 deer if I wanted. My goal each year is to take 2-3 doe if the population is there, but I rarely take more than 1 doe off the same property.

I thought the same thing about the money deal... I don't see it as trying to increase the herd since more tags can be used the entire season. there does seem to have been an over harvest of does in some parts of the state, but so far around me the doe numbers are pretty good. The property owners I hunt on usually control how many does they want taken so that has definitely helped.

5000-10000+ in this part of Ohio depending on the quality of farm ground.

I switched from 20 gauge hornaday ssts to lightfield 3" mags. they seemed to group much more consistent than the sst did in my gun (tc encore).

I used this display a few years ago and it turned out nice... the wings were the most difficult to get symmetric but overall wasn't too hard. TWKW

they've been bad around here... I spray the clothes down before I head to the woods which usually keeps them away.

Found around 290 over the last couple weeks... most people haven't had much luck around here so I can't complain. Might be lucky to have another week left in the season.

great job.. congrats! I wish my buddy still had his lease down there. I took 3 over the two years I went down... a lot of birds and interesting hunting in the swamps. I look forward to a rio and merriam hunt one of these years.
