  1. If you have the measurements a fiberglass reproduction is the way to go on big saltwater fish anyhow. That you can get done anytime as the measurements keep longer than the fish does in the freezer. So get your turkey mount and start saving for the fiberglass reproduction

    Gout

On top of what others have already said about anti-inflammatories the pure cherry juice that seems to be only available at health food stores helps.
  3. I'm thankful that didn't turn out nearly as bad as it could of for you. Those folks were sure a blessing!
  4. A compilation of various fish catches over the years. Some of these pictures are before and some after my injury. I wrote and played the music in the background. Hope you all enjoy it. Heavy Work It takes a while to load so be patient.
  5. Sounds like you broke a couple strands. Don't shoot or draw back the bow again until you get a new string put on.
  6. I agree with the rings comment. Talley Lightweights are a great upgrade. The Sako Optiloc's (expensive) are also very very good.
  7. First thing I'd check for is something hard in the target. Next I'd make sure the rest of my arrows don't have any cracks in them by flexing them by hand (wear gloves and glasses when you do this).
  8. I started using Perfection Turkey diaphragm calls in the late eighties. I've used just about every other production diaphragm out there and one thing in particular stands out about Perfection's Diaphragms. They are absolutely consistent and if you buy three of the same model they WILL sound the same! I've found out the hard way that simply isn't true with most of the production calls out there. I know I can buy a regular Red every single year and it will sound the same and as good as the one I used last season. One less thing to worry about. I made my own pot call but I wanted one that was completely impervious to heat, moisture and humidity. Humidity especially will deaden the sound of many wood backed pot calls. Most plastic backed calls don't loose anything from humidity but heat does affect them. Around here that happens often enough that it's futile to use those calls on those days. Perfection's Screamin' Demon II pot call is a glass top with a Corian (CounterTop material) base. It's capable of being very loud and very soft. It's a really great call. Check them out at http://www.perfectionturkeycalls.com/
  9. Had a wood duck hen with eight little ones in the backyard late last week.
  10. That's great Kathleen! Mary says Hi! Thanks for the picture. I don't have that one.
  11. I feel guilty asking anyone here to vote again after so many helped my buddy Mike Hinkel. But my wife entered an Oil of Olay Covergirl contest and she could win $10,000. I also need to ask because I need to work at least as hard to get votes for my wife as I did my buddy. It's just a one vote thing not an everyday deal like Mike's contest. There is also an option to "Forward this entry to a friend." That would really help her out. Thanks Vote for Mary

He won the final poll. I believe they still are going to count all the votes for the whole month to determine the winner. Keep your fingers crossed.

  16. Mike is only leading by 5 right now! Email and call friends it's gonna be a nail biter!
  17. Yes! Three other forums, plus email requests and Facebook. I've got a pile of people not on this forum voting for Mike.
  18. I figure he probably needs 50 more voters to get this. We need to recruit more voters.

    computer help....

Glad it helped. If you're positive no one else touched the computer your graphics chip or card may be on it's last leg. Some software programs will reset screen resolution but they usually set it back on exit unless the program is terminated unexpectedly.

    computer help....

Sounds like your screen resolution has been changed. Right click on your wallpaper, select the "settings" tab and increase your screen resolution one step up on the slider.
