Re: The Days In Our Circles You know... it wouldn't surprise me if some of NASCAR is scripted. It seems like it sometimes. Jeff Gordon wins on Dortons birthday (totally best car in the field). A lot of other coincendences have happened enough over the past severals year to make me believe it. It's kinda like the WWF. People pay lots of money to watch that stuff and know it's fake. I don't think NASCAR is fake but it would not surprise me if Gordon gets to use a part this week and Stewart uses a part that week kinda stuff. It's all about TV ratings and getting people to spend money. Eric

Re: Softball Teams Our church team is 10-0 so far. We have a double header Thursday night. As far as me... I'm hitting .735 in 2 tournaments and not sure my league average. I bought a Synergy + last week and played 4 games with it and went 12 for 12 with 5 homers and 2 intintional walks. I'm really liking that bat but it should be outlawed. It's way too hot!! It's banned in ASA but we mostly play NSA and USSSA. We won the USSSA B church nationals in 2003. Not sure what we are going to play this year. If any of you guys are going to one let me know where. Re: Kentucky Lake Tournament

My brother and I got back Saturday from a great trip to Kentucky Lake. We had a pretty good tournament and caught a pile of fish. What an awesome lake. As far as the tourney... there were 110 teams that competed for the National Championship. After the first day we were in 59th place with a 5 fish limit that weighed 10.63 lbs. We just could not get a big fish to bite like we did in practice. On the second day we overcame trolling motor problems where we lost a couple hours repairing it but still managed to catch a limit that weighed just under 13 lbs. We finished with 23.31 lbs and finished 39th. The cut was 25th and they had 25.18 lbs. All in all we had a good tourney and made a decent showing. Here are a few pics from the tourney. The first couple are of a smallmouth my brother caught in practice the second day we were there. It probably went at least 4lbs. The next is a Sauger which we caught several of and the last is a 4.7 lb. Largemouth I caught on the last day of the tourney. We caught 25-30 bass every day we were there. Just an awesome time! Eric

They fixed it and he ran great. Johnson didn't seem to have that problem. Makes you wonder! Eric

My problem with JJ is wanting to blame everyone else when IF you could blame anyone it would be him. It pissed me off at Vages when JR punted the 25 because I had the 25 in my fantacy league that week but at least he fessed up and said it was TOTALLY his fault. You won't here that come from JJ. When JJ said the 20 braked hard on purpose at Phoenix so he would run into him I was shocked. Who would want to purposely get wrecked when their running for the Chase? According to NASCAR.com he needs to get his act together because he's not making many friends lately. So they say. Eric

Re: Busch vs. Cup I'll have to watch the Richmond race this time from a hotel. I really like the Busch race at Richmond. Pretty good action but the truck race is the deal. I'll tell you something that's unreal... the Indy cars have been racing at Richmond for the last few years now and they are rediculously fast. The cup cars average about 122-125mph per lap where as the Indy cars average 170+mph. It's amazing. You have to be there to really get a feel for how fast they go. I'm not a big Indy fan but watching those guys fly around that short track is awesome! Anyway... hope you enjoy the race Marky! Eric

Re: The Big One(s) That's right Chrud... the 42 was in front of JJ. I think JJ was trying to get a suck off the 42 and came up not realizing the 4 was there. As much as I dislike JJ it was a racing deal. I don't think you can really blame anybody for it but JJ will blame somebody! I was happy to see him finally get a DNF! He hit the wall on the last wreck and can't blame anybody but himself for that. Nobody got into him but he hit the 29 when he came off the wall. Still just a racing deal though. He jacked up the 20 car last week and can't blame anyone for that but himself! Once he starts getting boooed like Kurt Busch he'll come around. I'll give him props for being a great driver but he needs to grow up! Eric

Re: Greatest Shortstop of all time Defensively I would definately say Ozzie but Cal had a better bat. It would be between those 2 for sure. Jeter may make it more interesting before his career is over! Eric

Re: I\'m going to a Brave\'s game! My dad has gone to a few Braves games and said the stadium is awesome. I went to Camden Yards to see the Orioles and Yankees play a couple years ago. The Rocket was pitching for the Yankees. It was awesome. There were more Yankee fans there than O's fans. BTW... the Yankees won the game in the 9th. Great game! Hope you have a great time! Eric

Re: The Big One(s) Kinda hard for the 42 to get into the back of the 48 when he's in front of him. It was a racing thing just as much as the second one was but JJ is going to blame someone else for the wreck either way. Just like last week... it was the 20 fault that he got into the back of him. I lose more respect for JJ every week. I never thought I'd say this but I like JG over JJ and that's pretty bad for me because I surely don't like Gordon! Eric
