Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes. I had a great day yesterday. I spent half the day at one our local cowboy shoots (note, my avatar) and then came home and relaxed with pizza, chocolate cake and wine. The Mrs and kids got me a new back seat cover for my truck, in Realtree AP of course. Thanks again everyone!

If you want to see a great archery movie, take the kids to see Disney's "Brave". It's an awesome movie with a great story. There are some great archery scenes that are sure to inspire kids. Without spoiling the movie for some, it is great to see Disney making movies where they shoot arrows into animals and it's ok. Go check it out!!!!

I googled some images of both brown or chocolate phase and cinnamon. I could see why some might call it brown because they are similar. I'm going to lean towards cinnamon.

I've seen lately that several members here have started their own business. I hope to try my hand at it myself soon. There is a local winemaking shop that may be up for sale soon because the owner wants to retire. It has been open for 5 years and it has grown every year since it has opened. I asked about it and I have first dibbs on buying the business. The location is a rented space so I will not have to buy a building, just pay the rent & utilities each month. I have never done anything like this before in my life. I've only had one business class (back in the mis 80's). The gentleman is coming over to to my house to discuss the purchase next week. What are some questions I should be asking?

I gave mechanicals a try for a couple years and I just could not get the "hopefully this head will work correctly" out of my head. I went back to my Slick Tricks that fly just like field tips and leave slug holes in deer. Last year I had a doe take a step just as I released and it made the shot quartering to me. I entered the front shoulder and the arrow exited out the opposite hind leg. You cannot get better penetration than that.

I'm sorry I couldn't contribute this year. The early spring had screwed up the birds here in NY. Then combine that with my son's t-ball games every Saturday, I didn't get out as much. A big congratulations to all of you who made us a winning team!!

It's tough identifying a plant without its flower or flower color. I'm going to guess passion flower.

The only plans I had for this weekend were to coach my boys t-ball team on Saturday but it looks like it will be rained out. I really don't have much to do this weekend. Aside from some wine work I will probably sit around and be lazy.

Recently you were looking for a new phone. Most smart phones have some type of a GPS. My wife just clips her phone to the dash. Maybe you can kill two birds with one stone
