  3. Hey MORON ,, log out and log back in using buckee, NOT your email address. ... lol
  4. LOL ,, ok ,,, but isn't that where they originally came from to start with ?? ...
  5. Hey .... Hello there !!
  6. Like you I was hounded with emails and such from Archers Choice, I observed the same thing as you when it came to winners of their contests and give-aways. It seemed to be the same with other shows that offered these type of contests. So I just stopped participating in the all. Realtree Outdoors still airs on the Outdoor channel, but Roadtrips and others like it seemed to have disappeared. But I agree with you it seems some have used these forums as a springboard and once they accomplished what they needed, they didn't reciprocate the favor to the forums. I truly don't know what the answer would be, but I do think it would be a shame to loose this forum, it has so much to offer from some great people.
  7. I was never big on the semi auto thing, but I'd never turn down a good thing either. That SX4 in camo looks sweet.
  8. Yep, they always had their own website, but what I was referring to was their Facebook page, they like many other Pro Staffers have their own Facebook pages that they use as forums, they also do weekly giveaways to draw people to their pages, I would think they would do the same for Realtree if that's who they are representing. Again, just is just my take on it, and I may be way off base with this. Using Ralph and Vikki may have been a poor example on my part since they have their own company and show to look after, but I hope everyone gets the gist as to what I was trying to get at. Tim Andrus, seems to be the ONLY one that makes a effort to be on this site on a consistent basis, even tho he does the RUSH, and has his own Facebook page to tend to. I definitely in no way am trying to bash or belittle anyone, but it seems to me Facebook has played a part in the lack of participation here. I for one would love to see these forums flourish once again.
  9. LOL ... Set in your ways aren't you Martin ..
  10. Yep. Steve hangs out on Facebook daily ... he's on my friends list as a few from here are.
  11. This is an example of what I was referring to ....
  12. This was another thing I was going to mention, these realtree prostaffers have their own Facebook pages/Websites, but yet can't take the time to visit the REALTREE FORUMS and converse with their supporters ... NOT good in my opinion. I visited the ProStaff room a bit ago and the ONLY Prostaff member to make a effort to connect with the folks that visit here is Tim Andrus, and he makes a honest effort to touch basis with everyone, and will actually take the time to make a personal connection with anyone that willing to strike up a conversation.
  13. With all of the hunting equipment companies having their own Facebook pages and offering regular give-aways and discounts on their products, I really think this is what as drawn people away from here. I really think that this site needs a manufacturing/company spot here to draw folks here to see what's up and coming with NEW companies and what they have to offer, and what improvements have been made to existing products .. For example I happen to stumble upon a couple new companies ( at least to me ) such as Flying Arrow Archery, Savoy Leather, and Black Eagle Archery and many more. I know it's a lot to sift through with so many companies out there but something needs to be done (again just my opinion ) to draw new members in and even the old members that have moved to Facebook to get and learn about these products. I know Archerytalk has moved to this type of platform to keep it's existing members and draw in new members. Just something to ponder ...
  14. Nope, just can't seem to give up my 2008 Hoyt Katera. It still does the job and can't see the justification on spending money on something not really needed other than to say I bought a new bow.
  15. Nice congrats on the venison ... I hate NO blood trails, I usually lose out on those type of scenarios.
  16. Merry Christmas everyone, may it be a very Blessed one.
