Also posted this in exotics so if this needs deleted fine, but wanted to post in bowhunting section too. This is me and my dad's hogs, there was a group of five of us and everyone took hogs and we all had a good time. This was my first animal I've taken with my new bow and I must say I was happy with my setup (Bowtech allegiance with montec broadheads.) It zipped right through the hog even though it isn't huge I was still happy to get complete penetration. Thanks for looking.

There was a group of five us that went hog hunting yesterday, we all took hogs. This is me and my dad, I took mine with a bow at about 20 yds, and he took his with a rifle. This was the first time I have been hog hunting an it was alot of fun. There were some pretty exciting moments, had one run at me while I was at full draw on it and had to get out of the way. I haven't ever eaten wild hog before I'm hoping it comes out pretty good. Thanks.

Re: Carbon Force Dominators? I don't use them but my dad does and he likes them. I think they are a good arrow, probably not the best one out there but you can get some good deals on them. He is looking for some more to buy and I would definately buy some if I found a good deal.

I shot my first 3D and had a really good time. It was a 30 Target with the longest being 36 yds. they said. I shot a 255 I didn't feel to bad about that, I didn't miss any targets so that helped also. I am now hooked on it. I know the next one I'm going to take a set of binoculars, I think that would have helped on several targets. I went with my dad and we both just had a really good time. Anyway I was just wondering if that was a decent score for the first time out. We didn't stick around to see what all the scores for the day were. Thanks

Re: Realtree Turkey Team #22 Any name is fine with me. I think there is a new choke tube that is called "Jellyhead" I think that would be a pretty good team name too. The Jellyheads. It doesn't matter to me though I just hope our name is the winners at the end of the season.

Re: arrow rest ??? I think the Ripcord is a good rest. I looked at them pretty hard and decided to go with the QAD hunter series. The two are a lot a like but the QAD will stay locked up on a let down and is $50 compared to the ripcord at $75. But to answer your main question I think the Ripcord is a good rest and is a good design.

Re: Realtree Turkey Team #22 Just checking in. My name is Aaron and I'm looking forward to start huntin. Our season doesn't open until late April. Will be hunting Eastern's in SW MO. I am going to try bowhunting them for most of the season, might break out the shotgun a few times though also. Good luck to everyone and anxious to get to know everyone on the team.
