Re: Tell me what you think of my stand set up. Looks good, but to me if the only reason you put the feeder over the fence was because of grass I would move it. The deer will find the corn and before long it will be nothing but dirt underneath it

Re: 12 does - do i take one??? I don't think it will be a problem. I watched 8 does yeterday evening 4 of which came withing 25 yrds. The only reason i didn't take the shot is because neiter of the two old does that kept trying to wind and bust me didn't get close enough. I would really like to get them out of there before they bust me when a buck is in the area

Well last week was pretty good for me, i got my first bow kill, i went to an Aaron Watson Concert and Hung out with a bunch of my buddies from High School and did some more hunting. So everything was good, until last night I was drivin back to my house here at College and I got a speeding ticket. Totally my fault I should have known the speed limit I drive through the town several times a month. Oh well just needed to vent a little.

Re: Carbon in the hand injury pic? this wierd that you posted this today because yesterday i was hunting with my brother in law (new to bowhunting) and i was telling him about this story after seeing a cracked carbon in his quiver. He said he didnt think it mattered, so he was just keeping it for a back up. Thank god he hadn't already shot it, this was a large crack 5 inches long

Re: G5 Montechs I know everyone else seems to love them but last year i shot a doe and never got an exit hole, i blaimed it on poor shot angle and just being to much to go through the shoulder, but after shooting my doe this year with the 4 blade muzzy's and it going all the way through and blowing out the entire shoulder on the exit side, I just have more confidence in the Muzzy's. My entire setup is identical otherwise, same arrows, same poundage the shot was even the same distance

Re: Lumenoks....... My buddy uses them, and it has saved him from losing 3 arrows in the past week. Yesterday afternoon right before dark I was hunting with him and he missed (again) and we only found it because of the lumenok. So he preceeded to tell me I needed some because they were worth the money, and I just told I had a cheaper way, Don't miss. But seriously though they do help in low light conditions and in recovering the arrow.
