It's pronounced poo-teen here.

Yummmm. I was in town today and should have stopped at KFC for some poutine. Can't wait to hear how it went!
-
hehehe! Everyone keeps saying that we left it wide open to get a yellow named May. Never know!

Don't have the Keurig, but I have the Tassimo and I absolutely LOVE it. The t-discs are more readily available here than the k-cups or else I'd have bought the Keurig. I love love love the Starbucks coffee t-discs. Mmm!

Beautiful pictures! :camera: Love the headless ducks pic. :clown:

Ha! Our April just turned a year and a half old, has good recall and pretty good obedience overall (until someone comes to visit) so we decided it was time to add a second. All the headaches of house training are worth it when you see them play together. I say go for it!!
-
Thanks guys! I definitely have my hands full with April and June at the moment. The last two nights have been REALLY bad. I'm hoping she starts catching on to house training a bit better in the next few days. :chair: :clown: Justin left at 1:30am and won't be home until midnight or so tonight...... so needless to say, today has been VERY interesting. :hammer1: What was I thinking? LOL!

No.... I didn't get rid of Justin... sorry to disappoint. :clown: We just picked up our newest addition today. Her CKC registered name is Doukare's Time's a Wastin' ..... call name - June. She's just over 8 weeks old and is such a love! April isn't sure what to make of her just yet.... but she will in time. Here are a few pics! Snoozin' What on EARTH is that black thing on MY bed? Taking a closer look... (I love the "facial expression" on the octopus in the background) Sleeping on her back already...... like a little cockroach! :clown: Thanks for reading/looking!

Not cool, Tim. :nono: I was like......... AWESOME! Me first! :clown:

Yes! Really enjoyed it! 100x better than the other one you posted. This is definitely something I can relate to...... just some good old fashioned redneck fun mixed in with hunting/family/friends. Loved the fact that they had the kids out in the woods all decked out in camo!

1. We only get WildTV..... not sure if any of the other channels are offered. 2. Our TV channel is almost always on WildTV, unless it's a repeat. 3. We watch them live, don't have DVR, but if we did, I'd definitely DVR certain shows that come on late. 4. Equal. We have a laptop in our living room that we use while the TV is on. (Hey! Blondes CAN do two things at once. ha ha!) 5. I've only watched clips of hunting shows online, on sites like youtube, etc..

Absolutely would NOT watch. I struggled to watch 5 minutes of it. :death: It had a very "dark" feel to it..... almost like I'm watching a Rob Zombie movie like House of a 1000 Corpses or Devil's Rejects. Don't know this "Chris Brackett" but he sure does love closeup shots of his face. Seems totally full of himself. Reminds me a lot of Buck Commander...... which IMO is the biggest waste of 30 minutes on the hunting channel.

I totally respect your decision to leave as I have considered doing the same many times for the same issue you mentioned with this site. Best of luck to you in everything you do. If you wish, look me up on Facebook. Hubster and I share a page under Justin Alisha. Take care.

Like others have already said, I hate the shows with fake scenes before/after the shot. I don't need to see 20 different shot angles of your face before you pull the trigger. Dave Watson is one of the WORST I've seen for this. I'd love to see more hunts that are "real" and not always at some outfitter or ranch. I saw a show recently with Fred Eichler (LOVE him and his show!) where he went to WV and was thrilled to death to shoot a small spike and a doe on a small farm like me or anyone else would hunt. His over excitement after a kill is genuine and what I look for on a show! If the hunter doesn't get super pumped over their kill then I don't want to see it. There's nothing more boring than watching people like Larry Weishuhn go shoot his 1,000th monster buck or what have you, walk over to it, grab it, and be like "ho hum, there's another one for the wall", like it's no big deal.. :chair: I enjoy watching where they show a TINY amount of camp humor, but not 3/4 of the show. Could do without the rock & roll/rap before/during/after a shot. I don't ever recall hearing music playing while doing anything I listed in the previous sentence. LOL! My #1 least favorite hunting show on TV is Buck Commander (Duck Commander isn't any better). That show is the definition of what NOT to do.:bang:

I'm 27 and Justin is 25..... :smoke: The guy I dated before him was three years older than me. I don't think age really matters (within reason, of course) as long as you both get along great, etc..
-
Ruth, take it from me on the dating thing...... I dated the same guy for almost 6 years that was a non-hunter/non-fisherman and it was the worst waste of time in my entire life. There's no sense in wasting time on the wrong type of guy, which I did. I think it's great that you are taking your time and know what you want. What's the old saying....... good things come to those who wait.

Here's my chocolate lab, April. The love of my life! Second only to my husband..... of course. :clown: She will be 2 in June! Happy Halloween! Tearing up some wrapping paper rolls. Being bad as usual. :nono: What? I'm not doing anything..... :angel1: Merry Christmas! The bandanna says it all. April and I....... doesn't she look thrilled?

It's hard to believe I've been here since February 2005. My life has changed immensely since I first started posting here.

27....... approaching the big 3-0 WAY too fast.

I will never live that one down. :clown: That was soooo bad.

Beautiful pictures. Especially love the "lawn dart" pics! Thanks for sharing!

How romantic! Such a great idea! Congrats!!

My sister and Mom both have Macbooks and absolutely LOVE them! My sisters is going on 4 years old and it acts the way it did the first day she got it. When the time comes that we need another laptop, I'd love to get one!

Exactly what Lewis said! Sleep + longline fishing = HA! What's that? I imagine that's what my husband (total disaster) would say. Try doing commercial longline fishing, staying 4-5 days on a boat (side note - with no toilet or shower), and HOPE to GOD that you get an HOUR of sleep in 24 hours. If you get that much, you're being spoiled on some boats. I know some trips where Justin has only gotten to lay down for a total of like 2 hours in the entire 4-5 day trip. The men who work on these boats are literally zombies. Falling asleep while standing up baiting a tub of trawl, falling asleep while eating their ONE meal for the day, etc.. If any of you have seen the Deadliest Catch shows and the amount of sleep they get, it's sort of comparable. It literally takes Justin a couple days to get back on his pins after a trip like that. To top it all off though, usually they make 4-5 day trips, take a day off, and make another 4-5 day trip back to back...... making a total of a possible 10-12 trips in a summer/fall. It's pure insanity. I couldn't do it. :sleep1:

Thanks for the replies everyone! I am truly well loved. :tt1: Justin and I have been down in the basement shooting at a target we have set up down there. Tonight I shot 5 arrows at 15 yards and made 4 bullseyes in a 3 inch circle, and one arrow being just outside. I was super excited that I did so well! Can you say addicted??
