    April Fools

I got my fiance's parents good today. Yesterday, I took a picture of me, with my belly pushed as far out as I could get it.....and took a side view pic of it. Then this morning before I headed off to work, I emailed the picture to my fiance's moms email addy. The subject line said..... "Guess what you're gonna be!" and inside it said in all caps.... A GRANDMA! Then went on to explain how excited my parents were, and that Justin and I already picked out baby stuff, ect. Well not long after she looked at the email she gave Justin a call and asked if we were playing a joke, which he went along with for a little while before telling her April Fools! She said that the joke was on us because she was disappointed! She also said that she and Justins Dad were trying to figure out how far along I am, and if it were possible since we only spent time together in Oct. and November..... and then again last month. LOL. They were CONVINCED!
  3. Hi my name is Ann, and I like to hunt whitetail! Real hunters, hunt from a tree stand..... on the ground? LOL. Kill shot.... dropped him in his tracks..... WITH the tree. To beat it all..... check out the barrel. After all, my name is Ann....... after Annie Oakley of course.

  7. I was eating at Logans (steakhouse) one time and found a hair in my salad dressing..... I showed the manager and she asked if I wanted another salad... I politely told her No, that I had lost my appetite. I did the same thing when I found a mouse turd in my biscuit at McDonalds that I was tearing apart for my biscuit and gravy. I took it up to the counter, asked for the manager and said, Sir.. is this what I THINK it is? I got my money back and a TOCC. (Ticked Off Customer Card) LOL Where I work we always have a free lunch every 3 months where the company pays for whatever you want from a certain restaraunt of their choosing. Well, we ordered from a place that makes subs..... and as our main boss was eating is sub, he happened to look down and see something out of place in his lettuce. He opened the sub to find other items that went with the first one. Come to find out it was a chopped up frog that happened to be in the head of lettuce when they put it through the machine. LOL. Last one.. This guy I used to work with went to a chinese restaurant one time and ordered soup. When he got it, he took a few slurps/sips..... and then another... when he felt something in his mouth. He grabbed ahold of it and kept pulling and pulling and pulling. It turned out to be a super long black hair off his waitress' head. YUM!
  8. In the fridge! Although at my fiance's parents house, it has always been in the cupboard..... along with the butter. Both, in which I find strange. LOL.

    Best amusement park?

I absolutely adore Kennywood near Pittsburgh, PA.
  10. Has the original post of this thread been copied from somewhere? Only reason I ask is because it is exactly the same, word for word, to an article that someone had wrote in our local newspaper in the "our readers write" section. Just curious!
  11. Justin is back home now ...... without me... :(

    Waddell Droppin' In

Hey Michael! While everyone else is busy sucking up, I just figured I'd get right down to the question I've always wanted to ask you. Will you take me huntin? LOL. Kidding of course. (okay, so maybe not!) Seriously though... great to have you around! Thanks for dropping in during what little free time you do have.

  20. I was hunting with my fiance Justin (total disaster), who lives in Nova Scotia.... back during late October/early November and I was lucky enough to bring down my first full plumage male common eider. I had shot a couple other males before this one but never one that was in full plumage. The day I shot this one, a large bunch of eiders came by our boat, close enough to shoot, so Justin and I sat up to try our luck on them. I picked this male out of the group, shot once, he hit the water, I yelled "I GOT HIM!", clicked the safety on, and sat the gun down. LOL. I could have shot twice more but was so excited when this beauty of a duck hit the water that I could have cared less whether I got anymore out of the bunch. Anyway, the day before I left to come back home to West Virginia (mid November), we dropped the duck off to a good friend of ours that lives near the airport (Halifax, NS), who had agreed to drive the duck up to P.E.I. and drop it off to a taxidermist that he'd heard did good work for a good price. Well, we got the duck back in under 2 months (amazing turn around time) and the duck looks great... all except for the feet which are G.I. Joe GREEN. We plan on getting another taxidermist to respray them the yellow/black they're supposed to be. Also, the head feathers are "fluffed up" and stiff instead of smooth. *shrugs* I'm picky. LOL.

    Hoodie

Hoppy - I bought my fiance one Christmas '06 from Bass Pro. I would suggest checking their website. I ordered his from there.
  23. Border Collie - very intelligent and responsive dog. It excels at obedience, agility, and Frisbee. They are perfectionist with a permanent will to please, thriving on praise but not without sensitivity. Too intelligent to lay around the house all day, they become neurotic if left alone for long periods. LOL. I don't like Frisbee. Otherwise that's pretty much me... in the dog world I guess.
  24. I really like it as well and think it's a wonderful idea. BUT, for me that adds to the amount of time that it takes for the main page to load, which seems to take forever and I'm on cable. Is anyone else having problems with the main page loading extremely slow? Usually I get fed up with waiting for it to load and go to my history and find where I've been on the forums before. I'm debating on changing my set homepage to come straight to the forum instead of the main page because of this problem.
