  1. Cool? Exactly what is cool about that? LOL. Love ya Steve.
  2. Most definitely. The 2nd day of squirrel season last October, I was the only one out of 3 of us to kill a limit of squirrels. I made sure to tease the heck out of them the rest of the day, and following day. Don't get me wrong though, I will be the first to congratulate someone else if they had a great day hunting. Although, nothing beats out shooting, out hunting, or out fishing a Dad, friend, boyfriend, or husband. LOL.
  3. Is there an echo in here? LOL j/k Really though Chris, is that a Dark Eyed Junco in the slate color phase? or is it a totally different subspecies?
  4. When I was a little girl it was blonde, then went to dirty blonde which is my natural hair color and I've also dyed it dark brown, light brown, bright red, dark red.... you name it. LOL.

    Do you have blue eyes?

    Blue eyes here too.....
  6. Great pics! I bet it's a rush hunting coons with dogs like that. I always enjoyed taking our beagles out and listening to them hot on the trail of a rabbit. Nothin like it!
  7. No chickadees in those pics..... but the black/white one is a dark eyed junco.
  8. Great pics Andrea! We feed the squirrels in our backyard too. I just got a squirrel house for them in the mail this week and will hopefully get it put up this weekend sometime. Here are a couple pics from last summer. They have REALLY fattened up since these pics. Too many peanuts and sunflower seeds I guess.
  9. Great bucks, and from here in West Virginia to boot! Tell your wife that we all took a vote here on RT and said to leave them the way they are. LOL.
  10. What an awesome mount. Like previously said, 6 months is a really fast turn around time. Still yet excruciatingly hard to wait that long for something like this though huh? Definitely worth the wait!
  11. Like said several times before, start her with a .243. They are flat out the way to go for a beginner. I killed several deer with one and then 3 years ago I stepped it up to a .270. Don't start her out with something that will scare her. That's the last thing you wanna do!
  12. First of all, why would these people doubt that she actually killed the buck? Because they are jealous or what? I got started in hunting (and fishing) by my father and his brother (uncle!) when I was just a little girl. When I turned 17 I dated this guy for 6 years that was a non hunter, who actually tried to get me not to go. I would go anyway.. of course. Glad to say I'm not with him anymore and am now currently engaged to an RT forum member who is an avid waterfowl hunter and has introduced me to that sport as well. No matter what, even when my father passes away, and had I not met my fiance and happened to marry a non hunter.. I would STILL go. Hunting and fishing is in my blood. I'm addicted for life.
  13. Yup, what OJR said....! The people here can't offer him the help that he needs.

    What's your job?

I used to be a crew leader on the Custom Preserve shift at a place dealing with acid. We put acid into glass vials, plastic bottles, etc. and shipped them off to companies to be used for testing air, water, and soil. l'm now working on the Production shift, which includes stickering and tare weighing vials, along with many other things. I'm away from dealing with having to work with acid, because it flat out isn't good for anyones health and I plan on having a kid or kids some day.

    How many miles

I bought my truck at the end of November 2006, brand new. I believe there was 12 miles on it when I drove off the lot. Now it's almost February 2008.... and the truck has only 9400 miles on it. 3200 miles of which were put on there driving from here to Nova Scotia and back. I only live 4 miles from where I work.... and don't really go much of anywhere unless I go to town which is 7 miles from the house. I figure by the time I have it paid off, I MIGHT have 50,000 miles on it. LOL. :D

    New Pets Pictures

Ugh. I would have went for 10 dogs instead of 2 cats. I can't stand a nasty 'ol cat. Nothing worse in my mind.
  19. For squirrel hunting I shoot a Browning A-5 Sweet 16. Boy, does that thing get babied...! Still looks brand new too! When it comes to waterfowl, I shoot a Browning Silver 12 gauge. Talk about a nice gun.... lethal as all get out. The first year I went after the seaducks, I shot my fiance's Browning Gold 10 gauge! Too bad it's so heavy.. I'd use that baby all the time. With the extra weight, it doesn't kick nearly as much as my Silver.
  20. There's no time for fruit! Just grab a spoon!
  21. Yup, worked great for me too. Neat video!
  22. Great pics! Where in West Virginia are you from? I live in Raleigh County but hunt in Kanawha County on some property my family owns. I'm gonna try to go after the tree rats one more time before the season ends. Like you, it's totally addicting! ... and good eatin!
  23. Ohhhhh! LOL. These are so bad but make me laugh every time.
