The last 2 years I have flown with my bow to vegas and I have never had to pay that much. The airline that I took the first time charged me $25 and the other airline charged me nothing. What case are you taking that makes it 2" over?? I have a 41" ATA bow in an Aurora bow case, this is a pretty long case and then I have a plane cover over that. The airlines I took were, Allegiant the first time and Southwest the 2nd. Maybe you can look inton another airline????

I've shot alot of strings, winners choice, stone mountain, the original hoyt, bucknasty and vaportrail. The only set that i prefer is the Vaportrail. The peep comes straight back and the cams have stayed in time. I would recommend them to anyone.

Even if you dont agree with what he did he still has that RIGHT as an american citizen. This same man served his country, the same country who is now telling him he can't express his FREEDOM of speech which he defended for US as well as himself. The flag being flown upside down is a signal of distress, not out of disrespect in this situation, this man thinks that this country is in distress and if you watch the news or read a paper some might think that he is correct.

Its amazing what our country has become. We now have a law in Iowa, and Im sure alot of other states have it as well, where no one is allowed to smoke in a bar. Now I'm a former smoker and will say that Im glad everyday that I choose to quit however I dont think that a state, city, council, or any other form of government should dictate if a person can smoke. The state of Iowa has risen the taxes on all tobacco products, Cigarettes $6.74pk Chew $5.58. At one point chew was over $6 a can but U.S. smokeless tobaccon dropped the prices. Now the state is trying to raise the taxes once again. It getting ridiculous. Just one more thing the goverment is trying to control.

I got to see him in Des Moines at Wells Fargo areana. Man is that guy a funny funny man!!!! Brian the guitar guy is funny as well. I figured that Jeff's material would be the same as his DVD since it was the Spark if insanity tour but there was hardly any old material until he brought out bubba. Probably one of the funniest comedians I have seen in person. Then again I havent seen Rodney Carrington or Ron White in person yet. :drink:

Ahhh the infamous target panic, how it can be a bear to deal with. Every archer that shoots will develop some form of target panic at some stage of shooting. It just depends on how you deal with it that will determine if you can rid yourself of it. One thing that is kinda funny is to pull your bow back and put your finger on the trigger like your going to shoot, however DONT. Notice how your pin drops out of the bottom like you were saying?? Now do the samething and when you have the pin on the target take your finger completely off the trigger and watch that pin float right to the center. Ahhh the power of the mind. Like Hutchies stated you need to try blank bale and another big BIG factor is your release. If you have a release that has any travel in it then it might be time to find something with no travel and one that you can WRAP your finger or thumb around without it going off. A shooter will try to slowly "squeeze" the trigger with a release that has travel but as soon as they feel that trigger move they are more apt to punch. Alot of shooters go with a pure back tension release. These are lifesavers when it comes to helping curb the punching of the trigger and target panic. They can also be the devil when you dont have proper instruction on how to use one. Once you figure out which one you prefer start the blank baling. Basically all this is where you stand at the bale and you have no care where that pin is, your not aiming because your going to be closing your eyes. Draw your bow like you are going to normally shoot but get your grip, anchor and stance. Once you get that close your eyes and relax!!! If your using a index release wrap your finger around that trigger (2nd pad of your finger is preferred). Once your finger is wrapped around the trigger slowly start your shot process, squeeze your shot, slowly start to squeeze your back while pushing with your bow arm. Let the shot go off and surprise you. The bow should jump forward and your release hand should come straight back. The only thing that your worried about is the feel of the shot. This wont be a one day fix, it will take time. Just make sure that each time you shoot, or blank bale that it as good practice and not just flinging arrows. Remember to wrap your finger around that trigger, anchor, grip is proper, stance and start your shot process. Now your aiming. The only problem with aiming is its all your mind. Every single bit of it. If we had a switch that we could turn our brain off while we shot then no one would ever miss. Your brain realizes what your doing and that as soon as that pin is on the target then its going to shoot. SHOOT SHOOT SHOOT. Thats all your thinking about either consciously or sub-consciously your brain is telling you shoot that arrow once that pin comes close the spot your intending to hit. This is where you just need to put a arrow in the bow, pull it back, go through the same process you did blank baling but DONT shoot. Put your pin on the target and let it float around. It might be alot at first but as long as its floating around and not frozen at the bottom then thats a start. Wrap your finger around that trigger and let that pin float. Hold that for a comfortable amount of time and let down. DONT SHOOT. Do this until YOU feel comfortable with your shot. Remember this is not an equipment problem, its just your brain telling you when to shoot. If your draw is long then that will not help matters but it does not mean that is why your dropping out of the bottom and freezing there. Once your comfortable with both blank baling and aiming try shooting. Start close, 10yrds if you want. Just make sure that while you are shooting that you are thinking about what you just got done practicing. Grip, anchor, stance, let the pin float and squeeze. The great thing about archery is that you control it. You are the one that determines how good you want to be. However when you/if you do try this, remember that it should still be enjoyable. I know that target panic is no fun but as soon as you cure yourself and you hold that pin in the center and you start to pound out the X then fun really starts!!!

Just wanted to see how many guys were shooting vaportrail strings??? I got a set on all my bows and dont see me ever changing. Anyone else using them??

Heck so do I!!!!! Its a good shooting bow, I guess for as little as I have shot it. Only put about 120 arrows through it. It is hopefully going to be my indoor bow this year. HOPEFULLY. I have plans to change out my 3000limbs on the Ultra-elite for 2000's with spirals OR cam.5+. So far I'm not a big fan of the cam.5+ plus I'm going to play with it alittle longer and see if it comes around.

Ok I have had time to go away and cool off and after reading oldksnarc's post it has made me feel even better. Maybe I should have done this before I posted my last response but didnt. I saw a guy getting bashed by people who obviously had their opinion already typed out and didnt hold back on puttin it on the forum. I will apologize to Kat and RangerClay. I still have my thoughts about it but arguing on the internet is like playing dodgeball with 3rd graders.... you may feel like your winning but you look like a dork to those who are watching. I myself have been in LE for 11yrs now and I still feel that WE are the ones who are paid to serve the ones who PAY us. Always have. I have never had the hardcore, gonna bust everyone that I can attitude and that has saved me in MANY situations. The best thing that I have ever been taught/told is situational law enforcement will make your job alot easier. There are good cops, bad cops and the cops who want to change the world.

I'm not a member either. Ultra-elite cam.5 27" Ultra-tec spiral 27.5" Vulcan vector cam 27.5" and 27" Vantage Pro spiral cam 27" Turbo-tec spiral cam 27" 38 Ultra vector cam 27" These are the ones that i currently own. Now if you need ones from the last 4 years then we are going to be awhile.

I agree with this to a T. Specialty peeps have 3 diffrent appertures that you can replace WITHOUT changing the peep itself. Just unscrew the apperture and replace with one of the others. This post above pretty much said everything to I was going to say. Even about the strings!!!

You know what people.......... I came on this site a few years back and thought that this was the nicest group of people. If I was treated in a way that i thought was unjust then it would brought up in a court of law. Thats the thing about LEO, we are paid by YOU to protect and serve YOU. Kat when you say that there are no Grey areas only Black and White then I take it you write a hard copy to every person you pull over??? If not than that means you use situational law enforcement and that would be a grey area. Thats why suspects are let go, technicality in the paper work. If it was black and white and the law was broke then the person would be behind bars. Kat you say that first ammendment rights dont apply here because its a private forum??? So what you mean is that your constitutional rights are null and void the minute you register to become a member on Realtree forums??? With all the threats that N. Korea has made in the last few weeks what do you think is going to happen?? I have just found out that N.Korea stated that they were going to nuke Hawaii on the 4th of July and now today they threatened that if we intercept there ship that they will wipe us off the face of the planet. These are blatant threats. The Hawaii one is the scariest of them all. They have said that they are going to do it and what has the government done. Havent we as a country taken enough of this man threatening us?? What are you thoughts on it???

Country hasnt been country for a long long time. The reason that the same "pop" singers get nominated every year is because all your teeny boppers are voting for them. Or your run of the mill woman who thinks that keith urban is sexy and the dixie chicks rock:hammer1:. Guys like us are not going to take the time to "text" or send an email on who we think should be nominated. This is the reason that you wont find any "keith urban" "taylor swift" or "carrie underwood" playing in my truck or anywhere around me. Hank Jr, Waylon, George (jones and Strait) alabama, ronnie milsap, keith whitley, charlie daniels band, david allen coe, the highway men, johnny horton (man I like johnny horton) and the list goes on and on. Outlaw country is my kind of music and if that means kid rock is accepted in by the likes of hank williams jr (outlaw of outlaws) then welcome. Plus I love some Gretchen Wilson. The girl can sing like an angel then turn around drink a beer and run the truck through the mud. Woman after my own heart.
