    Newbie Fawn

Re: Newbie Fawn what up danno? welcome aboard
  3. Re: I need assistance on my shot... Well I think you let your excitement get the better of you on that shot. Bowhunting is alot about being paitent, waiting for the right shot, I think you "my own opinion for what its worth" jumped the gun, I think we owe it to the deer as well as ourselves as bowhunters to be as ethical as possible, and not being able to see through the peep sight is like shooting with a blind fold on. Come on guy be better then that.
  4. Re: Any trad bow kills out there yet? I have seen on your previous posts the way you shoot and i think you will have no touble getting a deer!!! good luck
  5. Re: These pictures Tell The story Better!! Ok heres the story best i can tell. I flew last friday nght to Maryland from florida and got in late. The next morning I found myself climbing my stand on public land. I saw several deer all does that day and at 3:30 in the afternoon i shot a doe took some time to find her. I hunted Monday and Tues. Long and hard without seeing a deer. Then came wednesday, private Land day. I had scouted sunday and left my three cuddebacks out and did not have time to get them out before i hunted. I set up on a rub line and waited, not long as you can tell by the time on the pictures. Here came a 5 pointer he snuck up on me and was coming slightly behind my tree when he was at 10 yards i was at full Draw. Then he spotted me quarting toward me slightly But i said checkmate old buddy, And let the arrow fly hitting him in the right lung and through his liver and out his gut. He ran about 60 yards and expired. The funny thing was when i got down there was two does at 15 yards looking at me. They just walked away. The next day i had my dad sit in this same tree and he took two spikes within 5 mins of each other with a little help from the can call.
