Ok here it is when you shoot from a treestand say 20 feet up do you aim lower on your target if your sights are sighted in on the ground.I think that if you are aiming at a target"deer" at 20 yards away and it should be like around 18 yard shot on the ground?? am i right because of the arch of the arrow and gravity and such..30 should be what?will it make much differance

Re: Look what I dug up in my backyard It looks to be of the ford 4 cylinder veritiy by the looks of it the rod broke the engine block aint no good now. aint that just like a ford, give you trouble when its running then long after you think its dead bam!!! its back giving you more trouble

I was hunting, and there was like 7 or eight does under my stand and all around.One was a pieball so i was like i already have two does in the freezer and was saving room for mister big horns but the morre i watched the pieball i was like man that would look cool on the dresser "the hide" so i said to myself if she gets up to ten yards i take her"having alot of confidence from taking two does earlier" big mistake just as you think your the man back to reality anyway when i drew back my arrow came off the arrow rest i must have pinched it with my tab and that arrow made the loudest clank on my aluim lite stand they all busted out of there. oh well good memories..thanks for getting me to rember that

Re: ROBBED! hey that is realy bad that people stole your stuff man i would be mad but your right what can be done have a trail camera to watch you trail camera? I have found tree stands in the woods public land woods and not even touched them. In fact i go the other way because i dont want to mess up the area. I dont know what goes through peoples minds when they steal. I would be affraid of being shot by someone for that, Hey good luck this year

Re: whisker biscuit question i thinkj you need to switch i dont see how you could get to be accurate with the wrong biscuit, may you can adjust it im not sure on that but would get the one for carbon arrows

Re: How far could an arrow go? i would have to think that master cheif is saying 20 feet from the ground being shot from a tree stand straight out,And i think the question that was asked was how far could it shoot, there are alot of variables, so that in tail i think your long math is correct in engineering terms for shooting starght out but he said how far and that would mean how far!! So that being said i would guess and say 350 to400 yards depending on your arrow" carbon or all. weight and wind. So nice try there math wizard but time to get in the real world because i know i could throw an arrow further that 78.6 yards"236 feet.

Re: bowhunting opinions?? I would wait and not educate the deer to your presence because he may start trying to wind the other buck and pick up sopmething fronm you he may not like. I would instead of grunting wait and see meathod maybe a new tree next hunt closer to that trail. Good luck

Re: Vertical Pins? I HAD the trophy ridge sights but took them off and went to a 35 dollar traditional sight, I could not get used to the vertical sights, I guess from shooting so long with horizontal, I took several deer with them but still couldnt get used to them

Re: Advice for Game Cam shopper i own three cuddebacks two of them are 1.3 mega pixel and one is 3.0 mega pixel and i love them i get video and pictures it has changed my hunting forever. They are on the pricey side though, about $399 each plus the memroy cards and batterys excellengt battery life on the cuddeback digital. I have pictures on picture post here check them out under game cams

Re: biggest buck? 7 pointer here about 200 pounds on the hoof, would have been a nice 8 but he broke his right beam at the end still mounted his head on the wall, It was a 40 yard shot which is a lond shot for me and he just fell right where i shot him broke his backman what a day!!
