Re: Maryland hunters? I fly from florida to maryland every year on southwest airlines and they gave me no trouble when I fly. I have a api grand slam climber and I wrap it up tight so not to lose anything and they stick it in a plastic bag the kind they put baby seats in, The weight limit is 50 pounds per bag your stand should weight 20 to 25 pounds I think. Also try calling your airline and ask them if they have any troubkle with it, If so put it in a box tape it up and bring it that way

Now granted i dont kill 170 class bucks but where I hunt in maryland is public land and those type of deer are almost nonexsistant. Note i said almost. My 3 cuddebacks proved that to me this year

Re: Good Tree / Bad Tree.... My dad tought me this one if you cut the vines at the bottom of the tree in 3 to 4 days the rest of the vine will bedead and can be pulled off the tree so try cutting back the base of the ivy and wait. When there are real fat vines we cut out 4 inch section. man that stuff dies out fast try that be sure to wear long sleaves and gloves. Good luck
