I headed back to the same area today to see if I could find it's mate.I figured I'd spend a couple hours looking and still come up empty. After about 20 mins. looking I spot some tines,it's the one I'm looking for. Already in the area I headed to another area I wanted to check before green-up takes over. A half hour of looking here I almost fall over after I see this one laying. I spent another couple hours looking for this one's mate with no luck.There's still alot of area I still can look so it's not over for this one's mate. I did stumble across this old piece of what looks like was a good antler at one time. Here's a pic of the set together and the other ones I found today.

I was out Easter looking for some Easter sheds coming up empty big time on the sheds when I spotted this piebald. After the piebald I moved to a different area.I started looking shortly after noon and around 5:00 I found my first shed. It was getting late and I had another area I wanted to do one last final search in for the year so I headed there. I was walking across a hillside below where the deer usually hang in this area when I spotted tines down the hill a good 50yds. away. My first thought was I should have checked this area better last year.From a distance the antler looked faded and old like from last year. Getting closer I could see it was a fresh drop from this year and a nice antler at that. 2 more sheds to the pile and a nice piebald wasn't too bad for the day. Here's the 2 sheds at home.

In early Jan. I found a little buck bedded in one of my areas.I wondered at the time if I'd be holding his sheds in my hands some time later. It was on a hillside in a isolated patch of woods that my competition doesn't mess with.There was very little sign in the area and this was the only buck I knew that was using this area.I kept out of the area til the other day when I went in to look for his sheds. Here's a pic of that little 8 pointer I walked up on bedded down back Jan 5th. Where I caught the little buck bedded is a favorite hang out here so that's where I headed to.I walked about 60yds past the spot the little buck was bedded and saw this. About 45 mins after hitting the better areas and ready to give up on the other side.I was walking the edge of the woods and an old hayfield I almost stepped on this. A little over 3 months after first spotting the little buck I have his matched set.

Awesome!!I know finding that other side put a smile on your face. It's one thing finding a shed,a whole different ball game when you find one your looking for and when it's a Sweet antler,all the better. Congrats!!

That's an Awesome find!!What are thge odds of that buck getting tangles up like that then you coming alone months later and finding his sheds still caught up in that mess??

This has been a super year for me and it's still going.I'm up to 140 singles with 22 sets. I can't get our Rack'n'Stack logo as my signature,help please!!

Great day finding the sheds!! I'd say you'll be hooked now. Most buck have 2 antlers one on each side,you better get back out there and try and find those missing mates.Good Luck if you get back out.

I think we should get to split the no-show's potenial 30 points between the 3 other members. I knew I should have sand bagged... Love the signature for the team buckee!! Now if we could have someone offically change our name to Rack'n'Stack.

These last couple weekends alone it's been Sat. and Sun looking from around 9:00am til dark. Since the beginning of Jan. it's been every weekend,but not as long of days.I took vacation 2 days and looked all day then there were some trips looking during the week earlier in the season. I'd say at least a couple hundred hours looking already this year.

Awesome finds K_rok8923!! That 57 incher is Sweet,hope you can match him up.Do a grid pattern search in all directions from where you found it at.You find the match you'll have one Sweet set. Congrats on those other finds too!!Every find is a good find and one less free meal for the rodents. Doe-ee,you and buckee are doing great for that rain forest your looking in. Are those 2 sets from the same buck??They sure look like it.Keep piling them up guys. I'm shedding in a different world then you guys.(suburbia deer)My count is at 108 with 13 sets.Hope to add a few more these next couple days.I thought I had all weekend to look,but found out today I'm working all weekend.Looks like some long days coming up shedding first then to work. If eveybody likes the name Rack'n'Stack we can go with that name instead on Team #5.

You guys are having an AWESOME year!! That is one Sweet shed Doe-ee!Looks like you guys really have to work for the sheds you get.I thought I had it bad looking in a leaf cover. Rack'n'stack sounds like a good name.If we can get the rest of the team in here we can decide. Here's a couple of my latest finds. I think the little dink sheds are the best. That's an Awesome season so far,Congrats!! Can't wait to see some pics.I'm having a pretty good season so far,then again I have some pretty good areas too.That and alot of looking. We going to name our team?If so we need to pick a name,any suggestions?shed finders,shed pigs,squirrel starvers.Throw some names out there. We need to hear from the rest of the team too.

I thought they looked bigger then that.This set with a 20" spread has a gross score of 184 6/8's. Your set are a little short in the brows,but great tine lenght everywhere else?Definately better g-2 and g-3's. Anyway you look at it,that set of yours is a DREAM set!!Congrats!!

Awesome set!! My guess on a gross score with a 20" spread would be 192".

Welcome to the boards!! That sounds like a Sweet set,way to go!!Talking about sheds is only part of it,posting pics of those sheds is where it's at.
