Both those sheds are Awesome!!I'd love to find a few like that droptine antler.Your right about it being a great first for the collection.

Can't say I've got too many spike sets so I'd say you did good.Anyone can find the big ones.

I've been out twice so far.My last trip the temps were in the 70's.Only found one old shed from last year.All the buck I saw were still packing both sides.

Welcome and Good Luck with the sheds off that buck!!Those sheds will be some great sheds for starter sheds.

Shedding in the rain is a great time to be out.The rain lays the vegetation down and there's no glare from the sun.

I was hoping to go look for the sheds off the big typical I found last spring.Things aren't looking good as of now though.

sureshot-I'm really sorry,I messed up big time by not keeping my shed finds up to date for Team #3.I figured the best way to straighten things out without posting a bunch of pics would be to start over and post everything I've found in a few pics. If you forget any sheds I entered earlier and go with these next pics it should make it easier.Toatal for the year I've got 115 sheds with 18 sets. My total old singles for the year.(37 sheds) My total fresh singles for the year.(42 sheds) That little dink shed I found is in the middle between the 2 rows. And my matched sets,18 total or 36 sheds.

Re: 06\' whitetail set I have no idea who shot this deer,but it came into the check station in monroe county a few years ago. Yeah,I'd have to agree W.V. does have some good ones.

If you look at the pedicle too one's flat the other slanted.It really shows in the first pic.The mulitple sheds I have off the same deer they stay consistent from year to year. Also the brow tine is off center on the smaller shed. I think same genrtics different deer. btw-that bigger shed is an Awesome shed!!
