Re: Finally - a left handed shed! Congrats on the lefty!! This just means you've got more shedding to do. If it makes you feel better I've got like 12 singles from one area and most are from the same side,leftys I believe.

When you spot tines sticking up 50yds.away and the they still look huge you know you've got a good shed.I crested a small rise and saw the tines at 50 yds.I did a double take making sure I was really looking at a shed. For not expecting much out of the day these sheds did a real number on me.I think every serious shedhunter should get the chance to experience that feeling when spotting a couple sheds like these.I'm still on cloud 9 over a week later. TJF-I think you put in just as much time and walking as I do,so maybe your dream find is next. btw-Stacy had no problem helping me carry those sheds around the rest of the day.The only downfall to finding these sheds,Stacy was on the far left of our 4 man line.Minutes before finding these sheds I had him move to my right so I could keep him in line and keep better track of him. First thing out of his mouth after I found the first shed,"I'd have found that thing if you didn't move me".

I've posted these about everywhere but here. I found this set last week and it easily blows away any of my previous sets.Not a bad set at all for a Maryland deer.

Re: Yet another dead buck No doubt I'd rather find one shed off a buck instead of both his sides still attached to the skull laying somewhere.At least the rodents won't have a chance at them. I've been lucky so far this year that my dead buck finds have been only a few. Good luck with starting to find sheds and an end to the skulls.
