I too like the idea of real people, real hunts. I am always filming and taking pics. The kids hate it but I love it:). Not to Hijack...BUT:D. I always thought of a show where a film crew and a outdoor personality visited as many deer camps as they could, and even though the hunts may not be of 125" + bucks. It will be all REAL footage of Real people at Real deer camps. Whatcha think?

Don't despair Ruth... Write protection on the card is usually a little lock switch on the flip side of the card. It should say lock and unlock. Were the batteries fresh ones? Cams can be sensitive to partially charged batteries. Any possibility no game passed the cam to trigger it?

I have used both Ross and most of the time I am field dressing under low light conditions, and having the gut hook helps with the boo boos of nipping the innards. I use A Cold Steel master hunter plus. Holds its edge great.

Great idea to use the reflection of natural surroundings for concealment. It looks a bit small though. When the guy was rattling he has to get down low to be concealed. It should be a bit taller that what it is.

Good news Dakota...safe trip home.

No surprise about NY Joe:rolleyes:...Good read. It is getting worse and worse. With Washington also leaning in that direction, NY is long lost... I have my heart set on Texas. I really love that place. The Hill Country has inspired me:). Hopefully within the next 5 years I will have purchased some land or at least get my ducks in order for my 55 retirement..good Lord willing. Oh, and I am sure most know that Texas can secede from the union if the feels it is in their best interest. I can see it happening if Washington keeps pulling their junk:mad:.

I am currently reading a book by Howard Hill called "Hunting the Hard way". All about stick n string hunting in a much simpler time in America, and Howard referred to himself and others in his story as Toxophilites. Thought I'd share this seldom used word.
