When I picked it up I was very surprised how heavy it was. I betcha it was a good 5 lbs or better. This was up at deer camp, our summer place 2 counties north. They go unhunted until I/we get there and they get large and fat. Nothing the .22mag can't handle:). This is the one my son Joe nailed yesterday in our yard. He put a Slick trick right through it at 30 yards. Hey until there is better stuff to hunt...these critters help keep our eyes sharp. We are blessed with the HUGE chunk of woods that backs up to our yard and we have a ball with the critters:shifty:. The kart in the background is the urban deer removal kart...aka Kart of Death. Lots of deer have taken rides in it:clown:

Yup...this chuck was a pest. Making holes all over my field and he had a burrow under my storage shed which always drew flies. Good riddance. BTW...my son Joe nailed one a little while ago with his Mathews DXT here at our house:). Must have gotten to close to the mater plants. He will most likely post about it tomorrow. His looks nothing like mine does. The boy is deadly with that bow

I think Fred is very down to earth and it is no mistake he is shooting less than monster bucks. With his fame and fortune, He could hunt anywhere he'd like...right? So I believe this is a deliberate action to capitalize on the opportunity and stick n string hunting is no easy task. He does make it look easy I must admit.

I have used a T/C Thunderhawk for over 15 years and it likes loose powder and heavy lead conical bullets. 2 years ago I picked up a CVA Wolf for $135,all black. I put a $100 Simmons scope on it with T/C Gorilla Grip rings and at 100 yards it loves 150 gr 777 and powerbelt bullets. Inexpensive rig, but lethal and accurate none the less. I would like and Omega or a Bone Collector triumph to add to the collection.

Y'all know you can buy replacement butane cartridges and not spend the Thermacell price on them? Look in the beauty section and they are in pink ConAir packages for cordless curling irons. If you read the package closely, you will see they are made by Thermacell and are almost half off as if you bought the Thermacell specific refills of butane. They are the exact refill that you would put into your Thermacell. Check it out my son Joe found this out, and made the purchase to show me. Now I am telling you guys . He got them at Walmart. BTW...William I also received my free Thermacell from Winchester . They sent me a camo one .

I shot this critter Sunday morning in a field up at my deer camp. It was very heavy and was male. Look at how half of his fur is normal and his front half looks almost shaved. What do you think? The .22mag Remington 32gr VMax bullet works great on these critters. Using a Rossi single shot rifle.

Well these signs are posted about 300 yards away. A homeowner on the other side of the woods puts them up and keeps count. This deer has lived this long I believe he knows how to cross the road:D

Wow.... This vid was very short. I'd like to see thw whole incident. But really, how dangerous can a 72 year old woman be? I mean she didn't have a gun...Gotta be more to the story.
