    Mike, I am no biologist . You were in NO danger. But that looks like your common garden variety Garter snake. Many of which I have collected and taken to work to have fun with in guys tool boxes:shifty:.

    Have you been getting lots of rain? Rain is supposed to be good for antler growth. We are seeing tremendous growth on our bucks up her William. That velvet sure is amazing:). I am just waiting for the pic and the big smile on one of your daughters standing over that buck:)

    That is great news about Pop Kyle...Tough way to spend a Fathers day for sure. But I have a feeling he will be up and back to normal before he is expected to. Prayers will keep being sent.

    Chris, I have many minutes looking at the wide 8 through the binocs out Joes bedroom window, and he seems very intrigued by the trail cam. It kind of spooks him. I have seen him hop away at the flash and do the foot stomp routine staring at the cam, then he just wanders (or is that wonders:D ) away.

    Fathers day weekend

    I'll head up to deer camp Saturday afternoon after work. Spend the night there, cut grass on Sunday and head home for my annual Fathers day t shirts and my Sunday Macaroni:). Happy Fathers Day to all the Dads out there also.
