  1. your not kidding that is a dandy buck. Good Job and you get a big ATTA-BOY by the way I wimped out and stayed handy the house saturday evening due to that wind. way to work through it.
  2. the tear I just shed was pride, well told story Chris. I'll give you a great big ATTA_BOY
  3. We have them here in Pa, if you want to find out how many just buy ground, they come out of the wood work. LOL I run into the same type of people on the golf course, at the kids soccer games, driving down the interstate. People in general are just rude and think it's all about them.

    92xj's Wyoming Hunt

Thanks for the hunt, I just found it and enjoyed all the pics and the stories. glad you had a good time. Reminds me I didn't post the pics from my lope hunt last year, it will be posted today in the big game or deer hunting forums. Congrats.
  5. Building, carpentry, cabinets, I can help. don't do electric for people I like. I did pass my official plumbers test, Poop flows down hill, payday is friday, and don't chew you finger nails. BAAAHAAA. let me know if any of these skills qualify.

    choked

That's why we do it. LOL been there done that, like I said in previous posts I like to shake like a leaf, punch my release while lifting my bow arm at a high rate of speed. this allows no chance of a buck jumping 2 feet in the air and making me get a good shot on him. LMBROF, have fun with it and enjoy the ride.
  7. Nice buck, love those quartering away shots.
  8. That looks like my wife's lucky hat I have for her, she won't wear it. LOL nice buck
  9. took the survey, I'm from the old school. we hunted without these things for years, now everybody needs to wear a harness, every kid needs a helmet when riding bike, we need hand sanitizer in all bathrooms. JMO, but I don't always wear a helmet when riding my motorcycle, I'm not always going to wear a safety harness when hunting. Good luck all, but I'm to old to buy into the fear.
  10. ThAt is a pretty good deer right there I'm not sure he will make it to 125 but he is a dandy buck. I quick judged him about 115 but I typically estimate a little low

    Got a Question

Ok guys I need to weigh in on this one. The guys on tv make there living hunting that is it. They still get excited when they shoot a deer, but this is there job. I have friends that hunt with Primos and they work hard. But it is a job set up for viewers to watch. Heck I know professional golfers that work on there game 10hrs a day not for me. To me golfing and hunting is a hobby but you can't put your hobby standards on a guy that has to make a living. Heck Tim spent this past weekend in Ohio and just saw some does do you want to watch that for an hour show. Me neither the best thing is to be able to differentiate between who has to shoot good bucks and who hunts for fun. jMO
  18. confidence is everything, I am not a big believer in all they hype that goes with this head is the best. to put it bluntly I've been doing this for 31 years and I've never had a deer complain about the broad head I used to put him on the ground, with the bow you get what you cut, period. Good luck but I have a rage that I'm going to give a try on a slick head early season.
  19. nice doe, you get an ATTA-BOY .it's so hot here I'm hitting the golf course instead of the woods. But the broad heads are sighted in and ready to go.
  20. that get a big ol redneck ATTA-BOY
  21. just do what I do, take a shower in scent free soap, use scent free deoderant. put on the scent lock suit, spray you self down with OFF bug repellant, light a Swisher Sweet Cigar and hunt the wind. LOL I'm with you I will wait, it's supposed to cool down to 60 for saturday.
  22. you sure will remember that one, sorry about that luck would have been nice to take him. Good luck getting him latter.
  23. yeah this sounds good. LOL interesting concept though
  24. not sure where you are at, but if you are talking hunting when it is warm I've had limited experience. but hey it's good to be hunting
