    Sandy

Yep we are going to take one in the teeth, bilco is loaded with wood, generator is working and sitting on the back porch, 6 five gallon buckets filled for flushing toilets. Oh and the beer is on ice I'm ready.
  2. Nice work, It's really nice to be able to do the stuff yourself, not from just saving the cost but the fact that you did it. Your girls look like they like to help like my girls do. LOL Congrats, I got the kitchen finished this past spring, now looking forward to a deck.
  3. dude, you sure are getting a dose of tough reality. Great hunt, I will stick to hunting when it's cold. LOL When it's warm I usually work on my golf game, that can be depressing enough. Stick with it and thanks for letting us tag along.

  7. Dude, you are rich. If you have money in your wallet, change on the dresser beside your bed, and a car you are in the top 8 percent of wealthy people in the world. I know it tough but enjoy your day at work, there are alot of people that would love to be going to work period with this economy. Hope that put a posotive spin on things for you.
  8. I am not sure what 2012 holds for the family but it is off to one Heck of a start. My brother in-law took this buck in south east Montana on Wednesday the 12th. It was 25 yards from his pit blind and he made a great shot, actually watched the buck drop. He scores 158 1/4" as a main frame 10 pt. and scores 167 3/4" with the extra points. I would say this is going to be a great year. My nephew now gets to hunt the pit blind and is looking forward to seeing the 130" 10 pt. that was getting to walk by everyday because Big Jeff was waiting for this one.
  9. great deer, well done you get a big ATTA-BOY
  10. I'm going to show my age on this one, but I remember Jack Creamer who shot for Jennings showing me the first Cam Bow at Larry Wise's garage and telling me how he shot through a deer with it. LOL I remember wondering why you would want to shoot completely through a deer. We had some pass throughs in those days but most shot did not go completely through the deer. I have never shot through a shoulder, I have hit them but never got through one. I shoot 70 lb. with a 25.5 draw length. I usually er to the back of the rib cage instead of towards the shoulder. I have taken deer with fixed and expandables and have yet to have one complain about which I was using. I do like the rage, but hear me I only take high margin shots. I won't take any slightly quartering to shots, no hard angle quartering away shots. and never straight down, my set up wont allow them. If you are willing to accept the limits of the equiptment you use then use it. If not stick with a rifle. JMO
  11. 37 Dude you killed it congrats. Played Colonial Country club Wdnesday and shot 73 on top dressed greens.
  12. Mathews Q-2, can't even remember when I bought it but it is old and accurate.
  13. I hit a doe a little back one day at 22 yards, she stopped at 57 yards and I made a perfect double lung on her. Only reason I tried that was to shorten up the tracking job, most have been under 30 yards.
  14. Not sure what is going on, I've been playing quite a bit this summer and really working on some things but the game has been good for a while now. I know something will happen but right now I am having fun.

Used to come up there and watch a few games. My brother went to PSU and my Niece is there now. Any more the only reason for me to drive the 45 miles is to play toftrees. LOL
  16. Golfers Just got back from Pinehurst, dang what a great time. We hit Royal New Kent in Va. on the way down then played 5 rounds in 3 days down there. I was so pleased with the way I played. the greens were running a little slow this trip but you didn't have to worry about any getting away from you. LOL
  17. I have been fortunate to be playing a lot of golf this year, probably averaging 2 times a week. The handicap is droping, the putter is working and the new driver has been put away and the old driver is centering the fairways. I know something will go wrong and bring my golfing world crashing down but for right now it's amazing and I'm loving it. Headed to Pinehurst this weekend for 6 rounds in 4 days. Jbeck's Scores Hit them straight all and go often.

  20. have to hit the draw. LOL can't hit it straight, the game has been good latley, I've been getting 2 to 3 rounds a week in and the putter is liking me right now. I think my handicap is down to a 2 and could go lower after this weekend. we will see.
  21. Heck with my short draw length the only way I'm getting through a shoulder is with a rifle. LOL I just stay away from them.
