confidence is everything in hunting, shoot what you are confident in. IMO you confidence should be from experience. I have a short draw length and have never been able to bust a shoulder, I know this so I avoid them. I have taken 5 deer with the rage, Doe at 18 yards quartering away, ran 31 yards 6pt. at 22 yards, ran 60 yards Doe at 26 yards ran 45 yards Buck at 25 yards, ran 110 yards Doe at 17 yards ran 50 yards I will say that my Mathew Q2 is 70 lbs but only shooting about 235 fps, I have a 25.5 inch draw and am very happy with the way my combination works for me. I am not about to say this works for everyone but in reality there is nothing posted on line that will change my opinion of past experience with this product. I will continue to use the rage heads until they have failed me because of product malfunction, I can't blame human error on any head. Your experiment did not work well for you and I understand the disappointment in the product, but if you look at my list of success I am sure you will understand why I will probably continue to use them. I put it on an unscented tampon and drag it behind me when I walk to my stand, then I hang it 20 yards upwind of my tree stand. I only use this for a few days when bucks are cruising looking for that first ready doe. I use buck urine far more throughout the year like Hoosier said.

boy I hate to show my age but I can remember climbing with a Baker stand hugging the tree there were not harnesses then when you wanted to get down just tilt your feet and slide down the tree taking all the skin off you chest and arms. Putting railroad spikes in a tree to a plywood platform 25 feet in the air nailed between two tree trunks. Never thought of falling, fortunately never did either, I wear a harness now. LOL two kids will do that to ya.

you did right, not gonna be running for another 2 weeks. I am doing everything I can to stay out of my good areas for another week at least

Heck I took 7 deer with a fork lightning, Never had a deer complain about the arrow not going fast enough. Right now I am using modern technology of a 10 year old Mathews Q-2 still no complaints from the deer.

Nice buck, Depending on where I was at as to if I would shoot or not, JMO. Here at the house he is down, First day in buck rich area, probably not. You still have his picture and you don't have to skin him.

Here in pa they are legal for archery equipment. They have definatly put more hunters in the woods. On one note I don't like the crowds it brings to archery. On the other hand I like how it has allowed folks who can't hunt with traditinal archery equip. The possibility to hunt the rut. I have an Excalibur. And did take an 8 pt with it. It is fun but I shoot more accurate with my compound free hand so I use it.

I purchased a mossburg slug gun years ago when I was hunting a slug only area. It is a bolt, and ported. This thing shoots 3 inch groups at 100 yards with federal premium 2 3/4" Barnes X bullets. Don't use it much but what a shooter

Most of you old timers will remember the trip to china posted to get Cadee. Well my Oldest Carlee will be turning 11 soon, yep you old guys 11!! LOL Getting ready for Church on Sunday and I hear, Daddy, I am ready. this is what was awaiting me How did we get from the little girl I picked up 10 years ago to this. I will always see her as the picture I first recieved in Oct. 2003 No matter how big, bad, good, or beautiful she gets, she will always be in my mind as the first time I saw that little face that seemed to say. nice pic ross, I have seen them but rare. Pap shot a pure white gobbler in Montana one spring but not the smoke phase.
