Yes it does redneck. I'm not letting it get me down. It was user error on my part. But it eats at me I take pride in being a good shot and shoot a ton. Just torks me off.

Congrats! Way to go on your first buck! I remember mine like it was yesterday. That is something she will never forget and no matter how big of a buck she kills that one will be one of the most memorable with her dad. I know my first buck with my dad is the best buck I've ever gotten. Just the time spent in the woods.

If your taking it hunting you have to shoot it and site it in. Would you tkae a different weapon out and not have shot it before taking it?

She has got to be there somewhere dead. Don't give up on her yet. I'd go out and take another look maybe with another set of eyes as well. Always helps.
