  1. Sorry, no pics but they sure were good! There are some other recipes I'm going to try but this one seemed simple and tasted great!
  2. Congrats on getting your gun back! I would have thought that was long gone!
  3. Found an old recipe on this site that I wanted to re-share with you with my own twist to it. Cut the tenderloins into butterfly chops. The sprinkle with wild game seasonings. Marinate in Hickory BBQ sauce with brown sugar (All in one) with worchestershire sauce all day. Set grill to medium. Wrap chops in bacon and secure with toothpicks. Grill until medium at most otherwise they will dry out. Remove bacon and enjoy! Should practically melt in your mouth! P.S. I also add more seasonings and bbq sauce during grilling.
  4. That's a lot of damage. Haven't used them, I like my G5 Strikers but would consider them if I ever change.
  5. Looks like you'll be building some great memories together!
  6. Nice bow! What's a Rintec? Is that the same as my Jennings Trophymaster?
  7. Nice truck! The next step is to christen it with a nice buck in the bed! Congrats!
  8. Really hope everything works out for you there. Wanted to be policeman since I was young but my eyesight never allowed me to go in that direction. Always had the utmost respect for what they do.
  9. $3.29 here in Western Maryland. Jumped $ .10 overnight!
  10. I'm really sorry to hear what happened. We all appreciate people like you (first responders) that respond to the call to go in any kind of weather and regardless of the circumstances and try to save lives. Same goes to the fireman, policemen (Ladies too!) and all the others that sacrifice their time and time with their families to help others. THANK YOU!!!
  11. Have you checked eBay or other forums? I'd rather support sponsors but as an option that might be worth a try.
  12. You can get poor service in a Gander and also in a Cabela's or Bass Pro Shop. Although I rec'd good service in all three I take my bow to be worked on at a shop one hour away even though there is one in my town. The one here has poor service and I'd rather make the drive. The shop I go to has done a lot of work on my bow for free. I think he appreciates the fact that I drive so far to get there. I once shopped at a chain department store and stopped a lady in the aisle and asked if they had a particular item and she said no, they didn't carry that. As soon as she left that item was directly behind her on the wall! I guess it depends on who these stores hire but customer service seems to a thing of the past. They hire kids that need a job and the expertise is long gone!
  13. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and He will direct your paths! Hope it works out for you!
  14. Congrats on finding him. Humbling indeed. Your camera date still shows 2010. Did you forget to change it?
  15. Finally!! I didn't get a deer during early archery, rifle or muzzleloader season. Finally got this does during the late archery season here in Maryland.
  16. I like their brand of hunting clothing. I've not had to deal with them on a customer service level but have found their employees helpful when asked. Some of their equipment is over priced but I buy that stuff elsewhere. The drive to Cabela's and Bass Pro is too far but I have several GM's within driving distance. I need to try clothes on so they are convenient in that way. I generally like shopping there and am a pretty devoted Gander guy!
  17. The states don't have any money and the Feds don't. In my opinion it's the results of years and years of out of control spending. Our Congressmen and State Legislators just spend and spend and spend until now we are trillions of dollars in debt. It won't impact them, esp the Congresspeople. They will probably make more when they retire than they do now. Where will it end?
  18. Wow, that's scary! Glad you're okay. Only takes a second...

    Hockey tourney

I can hear it now..."...Muff takes a long pass, he's inside the blue line, winds up for a slap shot..he shoots...he scores!!!" And his team takes the win with a 1-0 score! Be careful and hope you do well!

    Hockey tourney

I used to play hockey when I was younger. Actually it was at the YMCA and it was called the "Over 40 League" but we had younger guys (and girls) to round out the teams. Had a blast! Still have my equipment but after 3 knee surgeries and around 17 years, I am in hockey retirement. I envy you though! Good luck!
  21. I wear a size 8 and need a new pair due to the new non-felt sole law in Maryland but they are now out of stock. Wish I had seen this sooner!!
  22. I understand needing ID and a license verifies your birthdate with a valid picture. I guess rules are rules but sometimes they don't agree with the intent of the law.
  23. Glad Cash is feeling better. That would not only make me mad but also it's heartbreaking for a parent (I am one) to feel helpless and not be able to help my child. I would definitely follow up with Wal-Mart officials and be as reserved as you can. I wonder how that pharmacist would have felt if it were their child. Five minutes would not have been that big of a deal to help a helpless little baby.
  24. That's still crazy. The verification is to verify your age, it's not as if they are taking a picture of your license to submit, are they? What if you had brought your birth certificate? Your age is still your age.
