    Re: Too hot! I hunted in 75 deg weather I wore shorts and a muscile shirt used the therma cell .KIlled a doe my friend couldn't belive my hunting close.oh yea I also wore sneakers.

Re: homemade projects during off seasone I made a lock box for my game cam out of a metal ammo can .I drilled a hole in the back off can to attach to tree with a t bar screw.I then cut a hole in the lid just big enough for a piece of logging chain link to fit threw.I welded the chain link on the inside of box with anough sticking out to put a lock on.I then welded the rest of logging chain to the outside off my box wrap the chain around a tree put a paid lock on they can't get in the box to the camara.I went a little step farther I put a lasp latch on the on the lid of can and put a pad lock on it too.So far so good used it for three years hasn't been bothered yet.I'll try to get some pics of it on here.

  14. Re: recoil pad for turkey guns The one I bought was made to fit the 835 so it fit perfect.They come with a adapter plate some models the screw holes don't line up but it was easy to put on and it looks great
  15. I bought a sims recoil pad for my 835 and I was blowed away at how much it helped the recoil of my gun .The 3 1/2 felt like a 2 3/4 turkey load I just wish I had got it earlier saved alot of pain.

  22. Any one going to the grand nationals down in nashvill .I went couple yrs ago and loved it I took a box call and had all the pro sign it.The owl hoot contest and turkey calling is my favorite.

Mossberg 835 with 670. gobbeling thunder choke tube it has a tru glo red dot scope real tree hd green match the gun perfect .I also put a limb saver recoil pad on it my gun is the grand slam version so it don't have ported barrel. I shoot the wenchester suprem 3.5 #6 shot 2 1/4 oz of shot .

Re: Set-up a little mineral site I bought some lucky buck mineral and poured it out on a old stump the next week I came back and the deer had a six inc deep hole dug all the way around the stump and had chewed the stup all over.I was amazed at how quick it works.I had a feeder next to it 15 yards away and ever deer I seen this seasone walked rite by the feeder to chew on that stump.
