Jim, I killed a big buck with it this year and for some reason, I got it stuck in my simple mind that a bow is only good for one BIG buck... So, I need to get a new one so I can kill another big one next year!

That is an awesome buck Kirk! I love the chestnut brown on his forehead. Congrats on a great buck, passing up on the smaller ones has paid off BIGTIME, once again.

Why not get him a .410? My 8 year old is shooting one and loves it! Also, I feel it is a safer weapon as the pellets will not go near as far as a single projectile. If you're stuck on the .22 I'd get just a .22 LR but, that's just me...

I don't know much about Craftsman Cinch. I would think it would be ok. Sears does have gift certificates as well. Maybe let him pick out his own?

A jigsaw is a great tool that you really need to have but,...seldom use. JMO

Black and Decker makes DeWalt. Dewalt is just a better tool. A far as the certificates for your kids, they'd have more fun spending it right away right down the road...
