One more weekend of hunting and I promise I'll stop. The boats put away and I am to old to sit out in the cold ice fishing. But, I'll be one of the first ones to get the boat on the water this spring. A day or two after the ice goes out on the rivers I'll be stocking up on walleyes. I have someone I need to give a few to this year.

I bet you think this is funny well, I don't have a brand new toy to play with...

I woke up to a nightmare at 2:30 this morning. I was dreaming that I was at my parents house and a thunderstorm came in. I was watching the clouds and the straight-line winds came down right next to the house. It was cool to see but, the deerstand I had just built in their front yard, blew over!! What do you all suppose this one means?? :rolleyes:

My guess is, it was quartering to you a little and you hit the back of one lung and went through the diaphragm and liver. Once she filled up with blood to the entry hole, it started pouring out.

I would say the peak was around the 12th of Nov. here. I saw a doe getting bred on the 5th but, I think the peak was a bit later.
