Well, I just got done with a 69 hour work week as we were on "Lockdown" due to the attack on my fellow workers. I have been very busy with that. Then, my dad had a terrible accident but as of today, he's doing much better and is looking forward to Gun Season. Now, I just sat down and realized that tomorrow, doubleA will be flying in for his hunt.
First off I'd like to thank doubleA for stepping up to the plate in helping out a fellow forum member in his time of need with a generous offer to go on this hunt. With some luck, I don't think he'll be disappointed.
Secondly, a big thank you to everyone else that in some way, helped out with all the other auctions and/or sent cards and prayers for Mike. (too pointer) You all are the reason this is such a great place. Thank you.
Now, I'll pick up doubleA tomorrow from the airport and get him settled in before we sit in the big tower for the last couple hours of light to get a glimpse of what Saturday morning may bring. Wish us luck, and we will be sure to bring updates every night to this thread.
Here's where we will be tomorrow night, and I think the temperature will be about 20 degrees. You think this texan can take it? I guess we'll see!
