I work in a place that has a few hunters. So far I know of four nice bucks that have either died or are trying to heal wounds from people who have taken some bad shots. Two eight pointers from archers. One shot at a buck running by him. The second one was shot while the buck was walking fast and the arrow went through the hind quarters. One guy told me the only shot he had was the head and he sqeezed the trigger. Saturday was the last straw. The same hunter that shot an arrow at the running deer said to me.. I had three doe and a nice rack buck come running in. No chance to get ready so I picked up my gun and fired at the buck. I was not happy but I was with my wife at our Christmas party. Not the place to teach him the ethics code. These so-called hunters do not practice shooting archery or gun all year. I told one guy today that I would have been happier if he didn't shoot at either deer. I am sure this isn't the only state with "Idiots"

Congrats Carson. Nice Deer. The only way to become good at his sport is to hunt and shoot when you can. As you get older patience comes along and lets you pass on many and take the older Bucks and select does.
