Well I found another antler today but the tree rats beat me to it. They did not chew off much but was enough for me to hate them even more. LOL It would of been a great shed but has the chews of the tips of all points and one busted off tine. Here is the shed.

Here are my 13 point and 9 point match sets that I found this year. I can not wait to get out again this weekend and hope for more sheds. Bring it on!

I went out for a long walk today and enjoyed the great outdoors that the good lord has given us to enjoy. I jumped a herd of deer that one of my target bucks was in. He is a massive buck with huge brow tines. I just wish the tree were not in the way. I also called in a coyote for the first time with my mouth. I have never called in a coyote so that made the day. Here are the pictures from today.

He is bedded and lives on some private land with NO HUNTING. I was very lucky to get them sheds! That is my first ever drop tine on a kill or a shed both. I was happy when I picked them up and then knowing I have a picture of him too. Cant beat that at all.

Todays walk shows some great looking sheds calling my name! Here was todays pictures and boy what a brute with my wide boy! There was a few shooters in the bunch that I kicked out in the field.

That is a stud! Wow! I bet some hunter is standing on a chair with a rope around his neck since he lost it! I would of been crushed losing something like that.

The other site I am on has 50 signed up for shed contest already! This is crazy. We are not even going to have enough for contest the way it is going now. I hope we do though. Come on people lets have some fun.

Stone Cold Central Illinois 10-15

I went for a walk yesterday for about a hour and half and this is what I found 12 feet apart. I then found the dead deer about 50 yards away from where the sheds were.

Well, my daughter and I went to look for some bucks before she had to go to her dance practice! We were watching deer and then I noticed one was a buck with no antlers. I was shocked to see this due to it being a little early. I then told her that we had to go so I started to pull away when I thought I saw an antler. I stopped and then backed up and grabbed my bino's. Not only was there one there but just behind it was the second one. It was a match set and I also have pictures of the buck from early December! Well Here are the measurements on my antlers! I am IN and on the board already! I would keep it a secret but I am toooooo proud of these buggers. Here is the sheds!

I am also OVER! I think that my shed season has just started with a bang though! I was out spotting with my daughter and we spotted these from a well traveled road from my truck! They were only 40 yards off the road. I also posted a picture of the buck with them on his head.

Nice buck Hoosier! I have been hunting hard with no luck on anything with antlers.

I wish it was gun season. He would of been hanging on my wall. It is still only bow so I knew I would get busted being in the open like that but I got to within 100 yards of him before the doe spotted me and then stood up.

I just got done with my morning hunt on November 9th and got loaded up in my truck. I take off and turn the corner and went about a half mile to look over in the harvested bean field to see one of my target bucks laying in the field with a doe and a smaller buck just about 60-70 yards from them. I tried to sneak in on them and then got busted but knowing I would I took the camera too. Look what they did next!

Way to go all of you lately. Get them points for us. I will be heading to southern Illinois for shotgun season this coming weekend so I hope to get me a brute.
