Nice one ohio! Thanks Hoosier! I knocked down another doe last night. I am not having any good luck getting to even look at a buck that has more than 6 points and at least to his tips of ears. Really bad so far and I think it is because the new goose/pheasant hunters two fields over on a pond. All night last night I heard at least 60 shots and I only seen a big doe with two yearlings cross the river about 150 yards away. They just so happened to come my way "Towards the bangs!". I got lucky to get a shot at one and the big doe and button buck never came in close enough.

They are starting to move now in Central IL!

Well I knocked down my first Doe this morning! I am ready to get me another! Will be back out in the morning!

Had my first shooter at 60 yards this morning with no shot. Here is a fella that showed up to my mock scrape the other day.

Well, with as little posts as you been seeing from me it has been a rough year so far. Not seeing any deer. I went in last night to find three people shooting all sorts of weapons on the property south of me. That did not go good at all. I hope that my luck turns around today since I am on vacation now!

I went out Saturday morning and had two come by. One was right before light and the other was a small buck that I had at 5 yards. The rest of my weekend is shot due to a bruised tendon in my draw hand. I thought I broke my wrist but glad that it is just a bruise/sprain. I will be back at it this coming weekend. Here is the little fella!

Sorry Dodge! I feel your pain! Lost my mother in law and now my wife only has my parents still here. I feel really sorry for her not having them here. They both died to young, 60's!

Hoosier what I am doing I hunted Sat-AM and Sun-AM & PM and will go back in this Sat-AM and Sun-AM. I will not hunt afternoons due to the heat. They are still moving in the mornings! I need a doe bad due to freezer being empty! I watched 11 deer go under my other stand from 100 yards away! I was ready to cry! That was on Saturday so Sunday I went in and had three does at 25 yards but no shot provided. I will get one soon. I feel it!

I also am waiting for Saturday! I am up the road from you in Central IL! I can not wait to get in my stand! I have not been in for two weeks and want to check cams really bad since I have that 6x5 walking the grounds. Opening day kill of him would be great!

Hoosier I hope that you hunt better than what your fantasy football team did last year. LOL Good luck buddy! I know I am ready except the flat tire I have on the 4 wheeler now. Have to fix that then I am ready to go.

Sorry Hoosier did not get back on after your post. I would of filled the spot too. Count me in next year. It has been a busy week this week. Dads birthday was tuesday so we went out to eat and then my daughters was yesterday! Here is a video that I got off my trail cam today! Looks like the nannys are ready to be taken! That last one would look good on the back of my truck!

Hoosier it is a little upsetting that there is no fantasy football this year! We had a lot of fun doing it.
