Next stop for live hunt....Kansas! starts now
92xj replied to Tim Andrus's topic in The Realtree Pro Staff Room
The hit list: 1- Mr. Rogers 2- Crazy 8 3- Sherman 4- Browser - who unfortunately broke one of his split brows this past week -
Everyone have a good weekend? No cheating? I did pretty darn good. Just got done with a 3.5 mile walk/run. I am ready for weigh-in in the morning. Hopefully everyone post up numbers to see how we're doing after the 2 week mark. Also, just got my chicken made for my lunch salads this week. Also, boiled some eggs (first time doing that, I sure do miss mom). Anyhow, good luck all and hopefully we will see some progress from everyone in the morning.

The geese are here, well the first part of the migration. This morning duck hunting, I had to have had 8-12 thousand come in and land 500 yards out on the safety island. Bring it on Canadas!

Lose the attitude. Not once have I been negative in this thread besides the "fatty" comment after your little smiley face guy. I am posting so much because it keeps me motivated. I will stop. 10-4, be safe in your travels. I could not hold out any longer to jump on the scales. Just got off of them and I am .2 lbs lighter than I have ever been since my Senior year of high school,so 8 years or so. Now thats a damn good feeling.

No, I was raised to always chew with my mouth closed.

Does it have really low miles? I am in the market for a 1/2 ton truck and was looking this one up on Kelly Blue Book. With 150,000 miles in "good" (4 out of 5) condition it listed at $5400 for private party. Just curious on the miles that it has on it and whats your zip code?

Texas hold'em for me but only when I'm dropping the kids off at the pool. In the woods, I am watching the radar on the weather channel.

Just buy one of those slings that you hang from a limb once you climb the tree with logger spikes. So, light, you won't even know you're carrying it. Can hang/sit there all day in them. Acts like your built in safety harness. 2 birds, one stone. Used to have a guy that hunted with us in SC and thats all he would ever hunt out of. I tried it a couple of times and they are pretty awesome.

5 bucks says you will be sick in under 4 weeks. I have never got one and never will. I like building up my own immune system natrually. The only time I really needed meds was when I used to get strep throat. I rarely get colds, the flu or any sort of sickness. Never even had any sort of food poisoning and I have had every kind of raw meat and any other kinds of non cooked or undercooked food you can think of. (Knocking on wood right now) The only thing thats put me down during the year is a stupid migraine with Auras. That sucks and I wish I was not around sometimes when they happen, worst pain in the world for a day or two.

Strut10 Ranch 10 point.........to shoot or not to shoot??? (with pics)

Congrats on the buck Don! I would not have thought twice about taking him. -
Yeah, I like my ol BB as well. I just bought a priovacy screen for it. On sale for 12 bucks. Its sweet now. When you look straight on at it its more clear that before but any angle and it goes black. Works very well at lunch when I am eating with the ladies at the office. They are always trying to see who text me or what I'm doing. I give them crap about looking all the time, but they still do it. Women just look for drama and something to gossip about. Last weekend when Tim was on his hunt in Texas sitting in the blind. We were texting back and forth and I was on the weather channel giving him play by play of that huge storm that hit him. It sure does pass the time in the mornings on the river waiting 2-3 hours for shooting time to come.

On the way from the West Coast.

Heck yeah I am ready. Got all the decoys ready, shells in their cases, blind bag packed, two new calls coming in from Foiles and another custom lanyard handmade from a guy on another forum. Bring on Halloween! The ducks will die! The evenings this weekend will consist of the lights being turned off outside and in the bed for a 3am rise. No desire to go out and party, got that fix last Halloween,

Man, I did a search on Enriched flour today to educate myself a little more in this diet. I knew I was not the best thing for you and I tried to stay away from it, but now I will for sure be staying away from it. This week is going great. Eating damn well. My mother would be proud. Excercise is going good with the weights, and cardio. Today is my rest day for lifting, so it seems like a good evening to cut the grass and might possibly still go out for a walk. I am fighting the urge to jump on the scales to see how this week is going, but I am making myself wait till Monday. People seem to be keeping a little quite this week. Who is still on track and doing this health contest?

I wonder how many won't get it.

Tim Andrus, His message and story to all...
92xj replied to 92xj's topic in The Realtree Pro Staff Room
Either my memory sucks or I didnt hear his name when talking on the phone with Tim. It was also an overload of overwhelming information. I was speahless most of the conversation, just sitting there thinking and taking it all in. I wish you all could have heard it in person, I am sure I missed some details. Sorry about all the "mans" in the story. I would go with my memory on that one. Tim, I am glad you met Vincent and were able to hear his story. Prayers continued for you, the family, Vincent and his family. -
No blaming me!!!!!!!! I am 97.9956% sure of my numbers I gave you. I would shoot them. And, by your standards, you cant hang it up. You said if you missed both deer you were hanging it up. Clearly you didnt miss the second one since you found hair and blood. Find a neighbor with a dachshund (wiener dog). By far the best deer/blood tracking dog out there. Better than a bloodhound in all my experience, as well as many of old folks I used to hunt with.

Seems like a tone of people on other forums are getting crazy winds yesterday and today. I know since Sunday we have had 30-45 mph winds with gust in the 50-60 and one reading on the local mountain of 101. Who else around the country is getting these crazy winds? And for you folks east of me that are curious when they might stop, it's still windy as heck here on the west coast and it's blowing east. It's still on the way.

Why in the world would a dog boarder put this in their advertisement. "Dogs have great views of nice green grass out of their windows." The dogs dont even get walked in the grass and can not go outside, but at least they can see the grass. Some people just make me feel better about myself.
