    Al, a couple of nice gobblers there. Missed you in KS. I doubled on a couple of birds. Not as nice as yours but plenty good in my book. 1" spurs & 9" beards.

    Just bought my KS turkey license online today. Did they raise the cost of the tags? It's $190 this year, last year I thought it was around $130. Computer doesn't let you make a mistake so I guess it went up.

    I just signed up for a grizzly hunt in AK. It for spring /summer of 2017. Got time to get my 375 Ruger ready. I can drive my old pickup some more, GM doesn't need my money. I'd rather spend it on a grizzly. It's the last must do hunt on my bucket list. Bob

    I understand about the protest, Jeff. I bought a hunt at a banquet years back & have not drawn a tag. That's the only reason I'm in.

    Wife & I really look forward to going to our AK cabin on the Kenai. She loves catching those reds in July. We spend @ 2 weeks there. AK is special---but I love the blue skies of the Rocky Mtns. Steve enjoy those golden years to the fullest.

    How many acres do you have there? I like the Kerrville area. I'm headed to TX for a hog hunt in March. South TX is nice this time of year-----just wait till summer. There is a reason they all come up to Colorado for the summer vacation
