Bean---Where are you putting in for moose? I thought about the new unit of 74/75-------I kind of know where they hang out in Silverton but I don't really want to shoot the town's moose, if you know what I mean. I put in for 76 & hope for the best. I was thinking you put in for Grand Meas.
Our NWTF banquet is next Saturday. I can't wait for the Realtree hunt in Kansas----I need to try out the slate call I won on last year's hunt. Good luck in MS, hope you don't have to go swimming this year !
They are out & they are online. April 7th is the deadline for applications. I've already sent in my elk & sheep applications. I'm still debating on which moose unit I should apply for. Bob
I like the mount. The same pose I used for my Oryx from the White Sands. What was the horn length? My bull has 39". I may have to go to Texas & get one of those. Bob
We have both draw & OTC tags here in Colorado. Draw tags are limited in area. OTC tags are mostly on the western slope. I'm addicted to turkey hunting, I try to do both. Plus going to KS on the Realtree hunt.
I went back to the gym. I do 25 minutes on the stair climber, 250 crunches and 25 minutes on the rowing machine. I know I row @ 5KM. The best way I know to loose weight is to cut out wheat, potatoes, fast food & sodas.
Tim,
I called Adam. You are correct on the dates. He is duck hunting with Mark. Mark hunted with us, he's from Texas-----not a RT member but Adam worked him in. Anyway they were down on the river this AM & he said the turkeys were going crazy. They could see the birds pitch right off the roost. Mark is asking to hunt there--LOL.
He said deer season was great. Bob
