No clue Dave, it's been there as long as I can remember. Used to be an old cabin back there. Quite a few trees wrapped with that stuff.

Couple cans of Raid should take care of them. I hate bees, got stung on my toe about 2 weeks ago.

Must be spending too much time in the woods. This little gal got so close at one point that my cam wouldn't focus on her. That's about 4 feet. She never cared when I moved or walked towards her. I was a bout to leave when she headed into the weeds along the creek. She bolted out and stopped about 5 feet from me then kept doing fly byes like she wanted me to chase her,lol. Thought she was gonna follow me home. By far the most entertaining experience I've ever had with a wild whitetail! Here's a few shot's, I was running out of light so I lost a lot of pics.

Still waiting on my bird ID book. In the meantime been collecting as many shots of them as I can.

They were REALY bad here too up untill recently. Seems they've subsided some when the deer flies took over.

Interesting critters, you would think they'd be redder from the hot Texas sun. A nice Chubicabra rug would look nice in front of the fireplace.

That looks identical. Sorry for the poor quality pic...just a quick snapshot before he took off. I've never seen one of these here before so I got a little excited.:camera: They can't be common here or are they? BTW- he was about the size of a grouse.
