  1. I'd be ticked too Ruth. Seems to me you need to talk with the landowner about this and let him address the problem. You can't change what happened today but you can try to prevent it from happening again tomorrow or the next day. Can't hurt to bring it to his attention.
  2. Too bad they don't have antlers.:eat:
  3. Been seeing plenty but they've been REALLY quiet lately around here. Rain forcasted for tomorrow so I'm not expecting gobbles to be echoing through the hills. Good luck to all heading out in the morning and be safe.
  4. Good deal, congrats Mike!:flex: Was fun to be part of it.
  5. You say that like it's a bad thing, lol. Sometimes the conflict of interests just clash and you find yourself enjoying your passion to the fullest alone without the aggrevation:argue: It aint so bad...you may actually preffer it that way. Works out better for everybody.
  6. Good luck Dan. Hope things work out for ya. Sounds like a nice little piece of propperty.
  7. He's a nice one. I'll be after them this weekend!
  8. My wife was so supportive she left me to have all the time I want to enjoy the peace and quiet of the outdoors.:tt1: Gotta love it.:pop:
  9. That's wild. They don't drop sets any closer than that. Never seen it myself.
  10. Just looking for a weekend get a way check out the Alabama Swamps on the Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge. Plenty of fish in there and some nice scenery in there too when the pike aren't biting. Small Boat Harbor on Erie out of Buffalo is good place to start this time of year as well and offers some good smallie action too. You could hit both spots in a day if the bite is slow at one.
  11. Great job Mike, Joe and to you too Anthony. Super duper gobbler and pics! Congrats guys.
  12. Dang William, no time to get hurt.:surrender: Got lots of work to do on the house yet.:whip: Rest up and hope you get to feeling better soon.
  13. Rest up buddy, glad you are home.
  14. Some good deals there Ruth. Should be safe getting me something in large! I got some raingear from there last fall really cheap. Could use a few more things for my winter wardrobe.
  15. Get well soon Tim....or not.
  16. Another week here. I've been hunting them with the cam for now. Hopefully they will become a bit more cooperative by the opener. Been hot and cold on gobbling activity so far with more cold as of late.
  17. Gonna be a real nail biter....I'll see if I can scrounge up a few extra voters for ya Mike. Good luck this week, been doing my part daily.
  18. Not a bad season at all Stones, especially when you pick up a nice set like that to top it off. What are the tags on your antlers for......season dates? Congrats on all your finds.
  19. I always enjoy those type of documentaries with some of the locals. Pretty interesting hearing their take on things compared to scientific thoughts, and beliefs of hopefull treasure hunters,... just hard to imagine a burried treasure over 200 ft deep under an old oak tree. Keep diggin' boys!:eat:
  20. Don't like to use oils on my bows due to them attracting gunk. Never really noticed any lingering odors using a dry lube. Lots of brands out there but I've got cans of this stuff to use up.
  21. :jaw: Nice....but I'm having a hard time picking you out in the photos.
  22. You never do dissapoint deershed, another awesome haul of antlers. Kinda funny you posted that chuck. Had one run up a tree on me the other day......not quite that high though. Congrats on some great finds!
